 I'm liking that last one myself... Mildly disconcerting without being blatantly creepy.

These are two pictures I took for reference from a preserve (I forget the name of sorry!) here in GA - and yes, those lumps in the water are alligators. The green on the top of the water is algae growing and it's quite quite bright green which I thought was just plain awesome (hence the pictures)

This is rather hedging the bets on "Real Places", but it is real & is part of the Universal Studios theme park in Florida; AND was pointed out to moi as a possible source of inspiration:

Blues/purples for shadows and yellows/oranges for the places in light. Good contrast there in that pic.

Trees in a fish tank. Fill with water. Add a quarter cup or so of milk. Shine light through it.
