Really exciting that we'll be receiving items in July

July? I'll be glad if the ships leave China in July. I think delivery is more likely in September or October.

But nothing wrong with hoping :)

I find your lack of faith disturbing

They started with packing the stuff if I understood it correctly, so I think it is good possible that we get our stuff in August, even end of July.

Well yes, but 10,000+ backers is still a lot of boxes to fill. (is this the largest CMoN KS in backer numbers?)

Maybe the US container will reach the West Coast sooner, but by the time the EU ship has sailed to Hamburg, German customs and the boxes reaching our door, I think (checking ckpm again for Black Plague shipping label... Nothing yet... ) September is a realistic guestimation. ^_^

Let's make that January 2017

I got mine at the end of July or beginning of August. The miniatures are great, the art is nice. I probably wont be playing the game. My favorite miniature is the werewolf girl in human and hybrid form.

The box is sitting in my basement with the other games I wont be playing. I really have to stop backing these... :(

Update on KS:

Like other companies, we do not have much information about the possible delays for the Hanjin vessel where our EU container of The Others is booked on.

We are in contact with our freight forwarders, and as soon as we have more information we will post another update.

Rest assured, we are committed to getting The Others into your hands, and if it turns out we have to send another container, we will.

Like the port strikes in the USA last year that delayed some of our shipments, this is something that is out of our hands.

But you can be sure we will do all we can to get your pledges to you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The big box with my pledge rewards has arrived in Norway!

First impressions:

The Mins are awesomely detailed, even though they are in preassembled "board game plastic" I can see very little flash, just a few pieces with visible mould lines. Some of the abominations have mould lines running down their long thin arms and/ or tentacles though. I also see that some minis have a small hole or mark where the sprue has been cut or broken off, and this is usually somewhere around the midriff,

Qualitywise the minis are on par with the level of excellence achieved in both Blood Rage and the recently received Conan, and for the most part better than Cthulhu Wars (the latter do have some mould line issues but are otherwise great (...old ones). Keeping in mind that all these minis are made in board game platic and not resin,

Some of the preassembled minis will be problematic to get access to paint all visible details, what with all the mouths within mouths and great big tusken teeth, especially the Avatar of Envy.

Game components seem to be well printed and in good quality board game cardstock. I must admit I have not bothered with looking too closely at the boards books and bits yet,.. still ogling those fabulous minis. The books seem well laid out, in full glossy colour and have lots in illustrations though out. Whether the game itself is worth playing remains to be seen.

Also, there are rather a lot of minis here! Enough to keep one occupied for months to come!

At any rate, as far as the minis go, both thumbs and a fair amount of tentacles up!

I wouldn't be surprised if they don't quite know,

even the best Chinese factories seem prone to not quite telling the whole truth about what got made when/stuck in which crate etc.

Once everything has arrived and been opened they'll know but until then, like Schrodinger's cat a pledge can be both shipped and not shipped, in a box on ship A and on ship B or maybe in the back of that port warehouse in china
