Nocturne
I've never watched Arrow at all, but have now seen all of the island flashbacks from the entire series so far and quite possibly at least half the major fight scenes... I really wish they would have dropped the flashbacks by now. Easily the worst part of the show and totally kills the pacing.
Glitterwolf
Almost lunch time. Slaughter a pig already, I'm hungy..! Whyyy.. whyyy....for the love of **insert diety of choice*** have we decided we should work? Which #[email protected]%hole of a caveman thought...you know what, let's all agree on getting up early, do something for a whole day and then get paid just enough so we can keep doing this? I mean, there you were, getting up when your body woke you..you walked out, grabbed a spear, killed a boar or a whoolly rhino, and then you were greated like a hero by the womenfolk. You had your way with the womenfolk, the meat was grilled,( BBQ the best invention ever!) and than it was sleepy time. After that you said around the campfire, impressed everyone with your hunting stories, ate the leftovers and got into a friendly brawl with Orog about nothing.. Drank some fermented fruitjuice, got drunk and fell asleep. Why did you think this whole workday thing for a wage was a good idea?

Whoever invented bureaucracy is probably to blame. Romans?

Glitterwolf
The Roman Empire is a a very interesting period. I wonder were they the ones? The Barbarian tribes in those days already had jobs, Hey Ulfar! You're a blacksmith now! But... I was just drinking my mead! Shut up and get to work! Anyway...lunch is had, now I feel a little bit better. Tomorrow another training day, then friday last workday of this year..oh yeah!

Moderator Chaoswolf Posted December 16, 2015 Moderator Share Posted December 16, 2015 Hello, Tuesday. What have you got in store for me? Apparently, what it had in store for me was viciously kicking me in the teeth. All day long. I had to pull over on the way home to take a minute to get my elf together so that I could actually drive safely. I'm not going into it except to say that I sincerely hope today is better. RE:dreams, etc---I've never had a lucid dream. From the extremely bizarre dreams/nightmares that I've had, I'm not entirely sure being in control would have been an improvement.

Egyptians... you have to have bureaucrats to build the big things they did 300 bureaucrats for every public works project!

LordJosh
My wife's pregnant and has a head cold, so she can't take medicine for said head cold. So she's not sleeping terribly well. As a consequence, I'm not sleeping well either. Gah, I hope this passes soon. /me rubs my eyes and gets another cup of coffee

Morihalda
*yawwn* Mornin' folks... Big thunderstorm last night. It sounded amazing but now I'm tired from staying up and listening to it at 2 am - after already going to bed late! 2 more days and we move! We have so much junk... We're going to try to move as much as we can Friday night so we don't look like packrats when the family comes to help on Saturday! We have a lot of stuff to donate/trash, but we just ran out of time and now everything is mixed again...
canuckotter
<snip> then I made T-rex comments because of his head size and freakishly short arms. </snip> At one point, I went on a lengthy (funny) rant about how I'm shaped like a T-Rex. I have a huge noggin (at least, judging by the pain caused by trying to wear any "one size fits all" hat) and a long torso and (relatively) short arms. My family remembered the rant and when Meet the Robinsons came out everyone saw the T-Rex and started saying "Hey Chris, look, you're in the movie!" I'm not freakishly disproportional, but it's enough that if you're really paying attention you'll probably notice. And I definitely notice when I'm trying to sit "properly" (according to all the ergonomic guides) in any chair. Some day I want enough money to get a real ergonomic assessment and get a good chair... Right. Once again, low on sleep. And now I gotta get back to work. Have a good day all! And CW, i really hope your Wednesday doesn't try to turn itself into a third Monday!
