I enjoyed MechWarrior Tactics back in the day. If this looks anything like that, I'm in. I'm not really sure about the turn based part though.

I am always skeptical of computer game Kickstarters, but I am also a sucker for Battletech.

These are the same folks who have been doing the Shadowrun Returns computer games. So they've had three successful kickstarters, and 3 really good games.

I'll second that. The Shadowrun games are Good, Great, and Great. The first one was a little rocky out the gate, but the next 2 were stellar.

One hour to go.   I'm curious to see what they've cooked up.  I was a huge tabletop battletech fan as a kid.

Hope to see it go, and they are good, but I have watched too many video games in KS go to vaporware to back anything purely digital at this point.

I hope for full support for kicking and punching other mechs. I always loved finishing off enemies with kicking.

well $25 for the basic get the game pack. 

 

skirmish to start with and stretch goals for increasingly complex levels of campaign, followed by multiplayer.

Eeh.. I like the idea, but they have nothing but concept art right now, no demo, no engine, no nothing.  Starred but not backing yet.  I know Harebrained has a good rep but this is really sparse.

They had me a "mercenary outfit".

I'll gamble for $25, and the company has a decent track record.

 

Backing is still a gamble, but the cost is low enough.

funding reached in under 24 hours is a good start.  I'm in for 25 so far.
