Glitterwolf
Very colourful piece. The webbing is a nice touch.
Matbar
Paint job looks really nice, and I like the idea of the webbing, but maybe a little less web? There were a few spots where I felt like it actually obscured some of your paint.
Moderator Guindyloo Posted September 28, 2015 Moderator Share Posted September 28, 2015 Wow! Gorgeous paint job! She looks like she crawled out of a graphic novel! How did you do the webbing?
tiniest rhombus
Very cool! I'm a fan of those spider webs.
ub3r_n3rd
Great job! I also dig the addition of the webbing.
Willen
As Matbar said, I think the web amount is too much. Also, because of the general brightness and saturation of the colors, the eye wanders and the piece feels too busy for me, it does not allow me to focus on the face, the actual character. The OSL, for example, gets lost because there is too much saturation close to it (the red) and then the view gets kidnapped by the contrasting green. I really like a lot what you did there but I usually prefer only one or two areas with higher contrast (be it saturation, color or light/dark contrast) to guide the view.

vegascat
Love that the rear abdomen is shiny, but the rest of her is not. I third the webbing. Its not bad, IMHO, but a little less would be good.

malefactus
FANTASTIC! She is a delightfully evil creation, BEAUTIFULLY painted & IMAGINATIVELY based. WONDERFULLY WELL DONE!
Moderator Chaoswolf Posted September 30, 2015 Moderator Share Posted September 30, 2015 That's amazing!!! You did a heck of a job with this piece! Who makes the figure/what's she made of if she's a conversion?
Neo
That's amazing!!! You did a heck of a job with this piece! Who makes the figure/what's she made of if she's a conversion? She is made by wizards of the coast I believe. As part of their dungeons and dragons line. And the cool thing is she comes just as you see, minus the web and the paint of course! Neo
For those of you wondering how I did the web. I simply left it in a dark corner and came back to it a month later. The spiders took care of the rest.
Pingo
I think she looks wonderful, but I agree with Willen's assessment that she is somewhat visually cluttered.
