Ogre Coffin-Bearer

Nice! Was that in the final wave of the Kickstarter shipments?

Thanks!

Nope, first wave. I'm still waiting for the remainder of my stuff.

Me too. Might not get it since I deleted my KS account. But I'd just throw them in the shed anyway. Lost interest in Wolsung long before they finally started shipping stuff.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Can't really take credit for the verdigris effect on the coffin, I used a pre-made bottle of the stuff.

Yeah, they ended up surprisingly overdue considering what a relatively simple Kickstarter it was.

But the minis are very nice!

Presenting the Ogre Tyrant by Games Workshop, he is very heavily armed.

This one took a while, it's very much one of those minis where the more you work on it, the more details you find.
I am very pleased with how he turned out though.

      Greetings!

FF53 - Ogre from Citadel miniatures "Fiend Factory" range, early 1980's.

I'm guessing that for older members of the forums, this old Citadel mini might be considered somewhat of a classic, maybe even iconic? Back in the day, It's imagery definately played a part in getting me into the hobby as a wee lad. I never owned it back then but recently picked one up & painted it up!

      Thanks for looking.

After completing my Reaper training kits, I'm ready to start tackling my old 80s lead minis from my youth.  I tried painting a couple when I was twelve years old and failed so miserably I literally thought there was no way I would ever be able to even attempt this hobby and it was just better left to others with more talent.  Thanks Reaper for making the awesome training sets and helping me try again after over 35 years.  So without further ado I begin digging into my vault from the 80s.  Apologies if this forum is for Reaper products only, no insult intended.

So I think this baddie might be a Ral Partha Hill Troll, but not sure. Anybody have some insight?

Presenting the Artful Dodger, part of the Dickensian faction from the game Twisted by Demented Games.

Not too happy with this one, he turned out to be surprisingly difficult to paint (and even harder to photograph!), but at least he's finally done (I partially painted up his resin version a few years ago).

As promised some months ago, I painted a wyrmgear like a circuit board :) Enjoy!
