I guess this qualifies for presentation? Just some cheap prepainted dragon toys on 50mm x 100mm pill bases. Lava base for the Red Dragon ( MojoFun 387214 ) and a ruins base with checker tiles for the Steel Dragon ( MojoFun 387215 ).

EDIT: ARGH! Title is supposed to be PREPAINTED, not repainted. The figure's paintjobs are the sweatshop originals.

The Dragons are BEAUTIFULLY repainted & based. GREAT WORK!

By presentation I believe they mean display boards  like my Spooky Woods & Urban Blight boards. The Show Off is where these Lovely Lizards should go...at least that's my spin on the beasty.

PREpainted. those are the factory original paintjobs on the figures themselves.

yeah the dragons need repainting, otherwise you are just wasting your good work on the bases.

especially the red ecch.

Red ain't the greatest, true, but taking the effort to paint a fig then also requires even further effort to STORE the fig to protect the paintjob. Careless players are WHY I've invested in a horde of prepaints that dwarfs my unpainted and handpainted minis put together.

For preprinted they're not that bad. Your bases are so cool though, the figures are begging for a repaint.

I think the steel dragon is just fine, but I eventually gave the red dragon a red magic wash.

And a red drybrush to kill some gloss. Still left a lot of shine though, just the way i like it.

My wife, @Shinma, started to paint the Clockwork Dragon several years ago.
It got to a point where the body was nearly done, and the wings and base remained.

We had prepared a big gear salvaged from a monitor stand, sanded down by a friend.

Then, inspiration and drive was lost and it sat on the shelf, staring at her, unfinished.

Recently she allowed me to finish it. I did the wings, small part of the body, along with the base.
      Here's our result!

Spent just about a week on this one. It was fun. My GS work sucks but it's done. C&C welcome.

I mostly modelled this off Michael Proctor's paint job, and used it as an exercise in learning to push contrast and glaze unlike colours. The photos make the colours seem to little more vibrant than they are in real life. Overall very pleased with the result!

      WIP Thread here
I finally finished this dragon. I took a lot longer for the base because I got a little carried away, but I'm really super happy with how it came out.  To begin, this was a request from my mother in law to take inspiration from a set of china she has.
      Here's the plate

In the end though I'm really happy with how the dragon come out and took lots of pictures:

I'm going to do my best next time to rein in the base a bit, but I'm super happy with how this came out.
