Here's the Bones Swatches (And others)

 

1) This is great. Thanks.

 

2) Am I the only one who thinks that 29834 Field Grey -- in the bottle or painted onto a piece of test paper -- looks absolutely nothing like any of the swatches for this paint? This specifically includes the printed swatch on the back of the Bones LTPK. The real thing is much darker than the swatches, which all seem: a) quite consistent with each other, and b) like a totally different paint.

2) as it happens Anne and i are undertaking a project to revise all swatches, as we have over the years noticed many similar inconsistencies. No ETA on completion.

At least some of those paints (such as the copper ones) are from the most recent Kickstarter, and therefore (presumably) will not become available for general sale until sometime after KS fulfillment.

Some of those paints are also from the CAV KS that has fulfilled.  So they might be available on the sooner side.  But only Reaper can give the definitive answer of course.

At least some of those paints (such as the copper ones) are from the most recent Kickstarter, and therefore (presumably) will not become available for general sale until sometime after KS fulfillment.

 

AFAIK, people who missed the KS campaign can also still pre-order the paints (along with all the other KS items) through the Pledge Manager until it's locked.

 

Re: the Bones paint line, I think I saw a post from Bryan recently indicating the Bones paints are now expected to hit retail this Summer.

I have had early access to these due to a project related to the Learn to Paint Bones Kit. I swatched them out for my own use, but then I figured other people might also find that handy to look at. I've taken photographs and scans of my swatches and posted them up in a gallery on my Facebook artist page.

This answer is correct. All colors in that document are intended for release, but some of them may not yet be released. Some are from Bones III, some are from CAV, and others are HD colors or Bones colors that are simply not yet released.

 

The Bones HD paints are intended for May or June release. Other paints will be released as scheduling permits.

Hopefully, they put together a few different sets so that it makes ordering and shipping easier.

Related. Kinda wondering about a box. I am quickly approaching that point where I should consider buying paint wholesale.

It's just not going as far as it used to. Or it's going farther, but across more models.
