Yes, I plan to add a bunch of rubble, but I wasn't necessarily planning on making a separate pile of rubble terrain piece.  I was just planning on piling it around the base the tower.  I was waiting until I was satisfied with all the construction first before I added it.

 

Though now that you say it, maybe a separate pile or two might not be a bad thing....

I finished the basic construction of the ruined wizard's tower today.  Now let the rubbling of the base commence! :)

Had some time to work a little on rubble this morning.  If I get some more time in this afternoon, I will try to post a pic tonight.

I got a chance to finish rubbling the tower for now to a level I'm satisfied with.   I want to get it painted at this point, as it's hard to tell how the final results will look in this state. I'll then reserve the option to possibly add a separate rubbled base in the future that sits up against the current base if I feel it still needs something else after I paint it.

I just finished viewing your 17 pages of ongoing work(s)...I think that your 2 story cork building (page 1) has great imagination and concept and your work execution is very very nice...I think most of your other work is very nicely done. I also love the tree work (page 7)...outstanding.

 

You do some really nice work my friend...take it from a member who has done a little work in the field of scratch built buildings and terrain.

Now for an update.  I had time this weekend to spray the tower structure black, and did an initial dark grey drybrushingof the ground floor.
