I think it looks just fine the way it is, no need to add the flora.

 

Not saying don't blend it in with the rest of the jungle just that it is fine the way it is now.

If you do want some overgrowth, look at what I did with Kaladrax on the Crypt.

If you take a look at that little statue, that's what I mean.

 

I added PVA and used very fine flock for it.

A few patches of this could enhance the jungle look.

Entirely up to you.

That turned out really nice. Nice patina on the statuary and kudos on a sweet terrain piece.

Ok, Glitterwolf’s example picture convinced me to try; so here it is with vines and some other green bits added. I like it, and am glad I decided to go with it.  It’s now officially finished.

     As I tend to do, I veered off into something else today.    

     A while back I saw online somewhere some neat pirate cages a guy had made out of hair curlers, so I thought I’d try and make some myself. I finally got all the pieces I needed today, so I began. 

 

     Ingredients so so far are some Dollar Tree hair curlers  and ornaments, and a couple washers.

Yes! I agree and have been pondering the best way to do it.   Part of me thinks I should assemble it on the base and paint it first then insert it up into the  cage; the other part thinks I should kind of assemble it both out and inside the cage so I can have an arm or leg sticking out.

  Also considering whether I want it to be standing up, or mostly collapsed.

Remember your ship in a bottle ... if your joints are not hard (string pin or some such) you can slide em in and he will still have a little sway with the wind ...

Mostly collapsed, an arm sticking out.

This is not an undead skelly but a deceased prisoner.
