Moderator Popular Post Chaoswolf Posted November 2, 2015 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted November 2, 2015 This is a Great Unclean One, a greater deamon of the Chaos god Nurgle. His purview is rot and disease. I've been working on this off and on for the better part of this year; I wanted to do the best job I possibly could on this guy. There are still a few things I could improve, and I missed a mold line or 2; I tried to work those in to the sculpt with my paint job. C&C is very much welcome on this one. A face only a mother could love: And the snake-tongue which actually supposed to be coming out of his mouth. Of course it broke when I tried to get a picture.

annexation
Fantastic paint! Love the strong highlights; a reminder for me to brave up and push my own even further.
malefactus
FANTASTIC! That's one of The Best pieces I've seen you do. The Big Evil Doer & his separate tongue are WONDERFULLY painted creations; AND, like most of the Nurgle Thingies, he has a twisted charm all his own. VERY WELL DONE!

Moderator Chaoswolf Posted November 2, 2015 Author Moderator Share Posted November 2, 2015 Thank you very much for all the kind words, everyone! That's gross! So good job! Ha! If you get the tongue glued back in, I hope you post another picture! Thanks, and I certainly will. This is the first figure I've ever really tried to push myself this far on, I'm happy with it, I just wish I could do it faster (I know, practice ), I started him sometime last year. Gabbi
Love it. About the broken tongue: was the model metal, or failcast? Edited November 3, 2015 by Gabbi
Moderator Chaoswolf Posted November 3, 2015 Author Moderator Share Posted November 3, 2015 It's an old metal one, but I got it second hand, the tongue was broken when I got it; about a half inch from the end that goes in it's mouth. Good because it's not visible when it's assembled, bad because it's very thin at that point.
