Silvervane
Just completed my lessons for my 365th day on Duolingo. Nice work! I've been making slow progress myself. Keep letting myself be distracted so I end up missing day here and there, or not completing the 3 on my goal. Ah well I'm making progress. Gratz on the 365 day streak.
Jasonator
Great Job everyone !!! Sometimes it feels like a bear climbing another mountain, but when you see the numbers change, ahhh...accomplishment. I've been listening to Norwegian news broadcasts (which can be VERY frustrating). Norwegian has two dialects.. Bokmal, and nynorsk. One is german based, the other is Danish based. Close, but NOT switchable. So some news broadcaster use one, others the Nynorsk....and it drives one up the wall. So, I've been getting a dose of each every day. Soon I will be able to tell them apart. My Cousin (an Editor) is always willing to help.. He catches every mistake...ROFL. Keep on going, I want us all to be BiLingual, something most of us are not ! Being bilingual really opens up a lot of new world channels for you. I have always been proud of being in the Vatican and being able to read the walls, and inscriptions on the floors. My daughter finally said "How do you KNOW all of this ?" I pointed to the inscription and said "It says .... right there). Made me feel terrific.. keep climbing gang.. I'm Proud of you all. Erifnogard
Poking about in the Duolingo discussions I discovered that Swedish tree 2.0 has been shelved for the moment because they don't have enough contributors volunteering to work on it. That's a real kick in the elf I must say. I'll keep using Duolingo for practicing but I guess it's time to seriously explore some other options.

Se og Hor on line is a Swedish magazine I check out many a times, some of their articles are NSFW so be aware of that. Great historical content, humor and scandel is available in heaps..as is music info on bands, and what is rocking Scandinavia. .LOL.

Talae
I have been sitting at 44% for a while now. I have really only been practicing once a day mpst days instead of at doing a new lesson. Recently I reached out to my Facebook friends in hopes of getting someone to have some friendly competition with. It fell on deaf ears. On a side note, I did start learning a new language with some coworkers. JavaScript via the Khan Academy website. The friendly competition is nice.

Erifnogard
If they would activate them in the Swedish module I would find out. This assumes I am not just incompetent and haven't figured out where they are.
