The view from the snowspeeder cockpit on Hoth, complete with AT-AT visible through the widescreen. The best part is, all the glass can be translucent; the paint on the original film was, after all!

A firefly passing by Blue Sun...

An Earthrise from the lunar surface...

A worm breaking the surface of Arrakis...

I also like the stylised super heroes upthread...perhaps some iconic SF headgear in a similar style? Stormtrooper, Teal'c, Geordi, a Cylon, one of the doctors (wild hair and a striped scarf would look pretty great in that style), and so forth...

I've been going through my game books, and looking at movie posters, and so many of the ones I like have way too many dark colors or black backgrounds in them.

They'd look cool in glass if black glass was used, but then I'd be blocking my light out, which defeats the purpose.

A lot of black could probably be substituted with dark blue, especially for space themes.

so I think I've decided the direction I'm going to go.

One window is going to draw from Renegade Legion, with one panel being a TOG Spiculum Fighter and the other panel being a Renegade Liberator Grav Tank

One window is going to be a sci-fi blockbuster theme, with one panel being the Millennium Falcon and the other panel being the Enterprise.

And the final window is going to be Dragons.

My wife also point out that if I make the shutters right, I can always ask her to do more panels to swap out as the mood strikes me.

Which Enterprise?

CVN-65?

Seriously, my favorite is the one from the very first Star Trek movie, way back when.   I like the one from the ST reboot, too, but I think the older movie version will translate to glass better.

It really comes down to which picture I choose to base my pattern on, though I can say that the TNG Galaxy class version is not a contender.

The refit is a good choice.

I have to question your judgement, however, on the galaxy class... I do hope that decision is based on the difficulty in transitioning it to glass, rather than a comment on the beauty of it.
