Tricksay
Beautifully done. I really have to try out your techniques on something!
malefactus
Your WONDROUS technique & selection of colors produced a BEAUTIFULLY horrifying piece. The horror is give substance by the realism you achieved with The Beast. FANTASTICALLY WELL DONE!

revloc8
I love this piece. I've got several questions for you, if you dont mind. First, how long would you estimate the overall paint time took? And did you wait long between applying washes? Finally, how do you hold it? I don't see any kind of cork/spindle/contraption, so are you just holding the mini itself? I've found that when I work with glazes and washes only, I end up messing up the paint even with something else to hold the mini just from accidentally bumping it... So overall, this was about 5-6 hours, including time to build. Washes can take minutes to hours, depending on the thickness and the temperature and humidity. It really depends on what you are applying and where. I just held onto this one by the section not being painted. I tend to apply washes and glazes to sections and then lay the figure down so those sections are "up" so the wash settles down into the figure and does not run down its legs onto the base.

Auberon
Really nice looking paint, as usual. Now that it's no longer 500% humidity in my painting room I intend to revisit your book and see what I can accomplish with washes.
AntiMatter
Ceiling fans really help to dry washes when there is high humidity
CorallineAlgae
Stunning. It's hard to find words worthy of work like this. I would be surprised if there's a better version of this creature anywhere. This guy is like.. the Elminster of washes and glazes. I feel like a bard should be singing.
