77286 and 77290: Mouselings for first little adventuring campaign

Recommended Posts

Now that is a adventure party I could get behind!

Love the orb on the druid. Nice deep colors.

Have fun with the family!

Great painting, amazing gem but the best part is getting your daughter involved, RPGs are the best workout for the imagination. Well done on all fronts

So cute! Gorgeous colors and the orb is stunning! Love the little campaign as well and sounds like your little princess is very clever and perceptive!

Thanks.  The campaign overall is going well- we've had a few overarching plotlines.  In our current story, they're fighting against a horde of mushroom soldiers (super dungeon minis).  But I just finished up Kanjira the World Breaker, so he'd better make an appearance soon.

Here is the Druid from the Grenadier Wizards box set, this one sans dart. Very simple garb on this guy.

I don’t know what to think of this guy. He looks very 1st-level, compared to the Druid with Dart. His sword doesn't even have a cross-guard. How anyone can sword fight in those Smurf-like robes escapes me as well. I think this guy has a lot to learn.

This is the Druid with Dart from the Grenadier Wizards box set. The mini originally had a tiny little limp carrot-looking dart in his hand, which i always hated. I took the liberty of replacing it with something a bit more substantial.

My daughter came up with the entire color scheme. I sometimes ask her to pick out the colors when i have no idea what to do.

I don't know what the little critter perched on his staff is. Maybe some kind of little lizard friend? Or maybe just something carved on the staff?  Oh well.

I liked painting this figure, did it for a friend from my d&d party. He's using it as his half-elf druid. We are both happy with it overall
      Hope you like it too!

I also tried fiddling with lighting and a background for the first time so if you have any tips on what I could have done better with the photos please share :)
      Thanks for looking!

So, after my initial pledge, I spent much of the past month following KS Reaper Bones V. While watching the marker grow painfully slow in the second week, while anxiously wondering if the last dragon would be unlocked, I was painting some minis in front of my PC.

Here the first one: Bonehenge Priestess. I tried an unconventional scheme, which I hope worked.

Here's some work done on old Tobias here. :)

I had one idea in my head, and started painting and it went a completely different direction. Once I get all the base coats on him I'll have to go back and give him some dimension.
Feedback is always welcomed. Thanks for taking a look!
