That's a cool mini. Is there any way to pick up these stretch goal freebies as add-ons (paying for them I mean) if just pledging for the €1 level, or do you have to get the core set to qualify? The core set looks like a great deal, but it's just slightly too big for my wants, a bit too geared towards army-building. I'd love to go in for a few select add-ons though.

Some of them are available as unit purchases - see expansion area.

I recall a few listed as exclusive though... Maybe the standard bearer?

 

Yep, some of the units are there for individual purchase. I was thinking mostly of the individual characters (like the Sensei Undead) that will be added to the higher pledge levels for free.

I checked my flgs and at least old stock costs the same in Canadian dollars as some of this in euros. Most is at a good exchange rate. While the price might reasonably be expected to go up, that just doesn't make financial sense for me to add shipping charges too. I'm going to wait for retail. If I were in Europe I might be more inclined to back now though.

It's soon going to be under 2 Euros per mini if you buy the core set, given the quality of Zenit's miniatures this is a steal.

Hmmm, not sure if they have said they will break up the units and sell the minis individually. It's a maybe on that, I'll have to ask them again. What they did say was that everything will be available in the pledge manager when I asked if there was a way to buy the stretch goals without getting one of the big pledges (that get them for free). At the very, very least I'm in for 1 Euro for that reason, I want to grab at least the Kickstarter exclusives.

 

I'm really wavering on maybe getting either the starter or the core set though. What I would like to get for my RPG'ing is:

 

* A unit of Jikininki (the ghouls)

* A unit of Onryo (the ghostly girls)

* A unit of Okuri-Inu (the zombie dogs)

* The big scary tree-thing

* The cemetery terrain set

 

There's not really a pledge level that gives me this without also including a bunch of other troops. The undead samurai look great, but I just don't need a horde of them. Still two weeks to figure this out though!
