The pledge manager has arrived!

 

Now I really need to think about which add-ons I want. There is a crazy amount of choice out there, even though most of them are just troops from different armies.

I went heavy on their line of creatures - lots of good models in those selections...

So many choices, I've been really waffling over what to get. There are a number of the undead I want to pick up, but I'm not building any armies so don't really need big units of everything. I had pledged for the Core set + Expansion level, but finally decided to switch to the €90 Add-on level and go whole hog à la carte; some undead, some samurai, some of their very cool beasties. What are you all getting?

Getting the core set stretch goals for free with the €90 level was an unexpected surprise.
 
So I went with:
Katana Samurai Unit (the standard looking katana troop)
Undead Katana Samurai (the standard looking skeletal katan samurai troop)

Kengo KB007
Ikame Bo KB008 (I like that he looks like a cross between a cleric and a thug)
Ao Bozu (the one eyed monk creature)
Spy KB018
Kensei KB009 (the elderly samurai with two swords)
Geisha KB005 (two fanned geisha)
Shinobi KB006 (ninja with demon mask)
Kensei KB004 (the Toshiro Mifune lookalike)
Undead Oni

 

So two katana wielding troops sets (one living, one undead), and some of the more unique/iconic looking heroes. And it cost me a bit extra.

 

There is so much variety that no matter what you choose, you'll feel like you're missing out. i.e. you feel like a kid with $1 in a candy store.

I should have been paying closer attention to this one during the campaign.  I pledged for the base undead starter, now when I went into the pledge manager there's like four more starters.  Dude!

 

I added mekurabes, cause heck yeah floating heads.  And a few other misc supernatural entities.  Did not add the terrain, which later on I may kick myself for skipping.

Have we seen a sculpt for the Undead Oni? It was one of the things I was most excited about during the campaign, but there is so much to choose from now, I'm kind of leaning towards going just for completed minis. It's possible I missed a sculpt for this monster, but I don't recall it.

 

I'm thinking of picking up a couple of the Torii starter boxes as they seem to give a pretty nice mix of samurai. But I'm also looking at a lot of the very cool monsters. Decisions, decisions...
