Well Soon is better than nothing...

 

I have restrained myself.

 

Just a "few" items..

 

The Cemetary Set ( I need those Toris) a Demon Chicken Unit, A Genbu ( Large Turtle Guy for my Lost World Project) and a Samurai.

Apparently the first miniatures have started to arrive.

Received my rather heavy package today.  Lots and lots of body parts in little baggies.  This will take quite a while to sort out.

 

The disembodied heads (Mekurabes) are some of the coolest new models I've seen all year.  Lots of character and great details. They're a bit taller than a full infantry man, so more of a floating spirit than just a head.  I'm so glad I added these.

 

NOTE: I found my addons inside the main "core set" box, instead of them being packaged separately.  If someone receives theirs and it looks like the addons are missing, try looking in that box first.

Minis!

 

Mine arrived today. And indeed like Jeneki said, there are a lot of tiny parts to assemble.

 

I had a quick laugh at myself when I looked at some of the infantry and thought I had a bad casting as I their faces seem badly defined until I remembered I was looking at undead warriors.

 

The one that surprised me was a large oni whose main body is resin, but the head, forearms and weapon (ball/skull and chain) are metal. And looking at their shape, they're going to really tricky to assemble. I'm assuming the chain got bent out of shape, so it should be easy enough to fix.

One of my samurai had a bent sword hilt by over 90° and it snapped when I tried to fix it. May be possible to fix, but it's not a big loss.

Yep, I received my box earlier this week as well, good stuff. Was scratching my head at the Oni as well, not sure how it was supposed to fit together. I'll have to have another look. I am missing one of the starter boxes of samurai that I ordered, but haven't heard anything back yet regarding that. Also a bit bummed that I had somehow forgot to order those female ghostly beings as they were some of my favorites, but that's on me. Stupid Trodax, you gotta pay attention to those pledge managers.

 

Overall pretty pleased though, the quality is really nice!

I'm about to check out of my hotel in Portugal and fly home. I sincerely hope that there's a large parcel from Zenit waiting for me, to soften the end of holiday sting.

My box was surprisingly tiny (I got way too used to Reaper products arriving in large boxes).

 

Until I held the box in my hands and felt its weight, I was sure it was something else I ordered.

Also, I received notification that my Tome of Horrors minis have shipped, so I'm hoping I'll have those next week too.

All I see is status reward delivered. No date and I didn't get a notification.

Weird that you Europeans still got nothing considering the company itself is European.

Depends,  stuff from the UK takes 14 days to reach me, while from the USA 11 days..

Germany is here within 2 or 3 days,

Spain, France etc, two or three weeks often.

 

I live in the Netherlands.
