89003: Pathfinder Goblin Warriors

Recommended Posts

Speed paint on one of those guys (by my standards - 2 hours total, but I just painted the broccoli, I'll get a proper base on there later) to get him ready for my son's birthday party this afternoon. (Sorry for crummy cell phone pics.)

Man... Gonna have to try again to get the hair later. It's got some decent highlighting on it that makes it a lot more interesting.

Going to go back later and touch him up, but he's in plenty good shape at this point for today's game.

Nice. I'm planning on doing the goblins after I finish painting two more kobolds ( or three if I can find the one that disappeared).

Maybe Lady Flamehawke recruited him?

But he's naked, he doesn't have any paint on him! He's not even wearing his primer!

She likes WHITE Kobolds...

The Little Rogue is COOL! AND it's COOL we are working on the Pathfinder Goblins simultaneously...I even have a similar skin tone...sort of. I'll give you credit for any ideas I steal...unless they don't work out.

Well, in case you haven't noticed, I'm on a bit of a goblin streak. Those pyros were fun, but now it's the Pathfinder Goblin Warriors!

As I did previously, I took a picture of them out in the backyard, just to see how they'd look in as realistic of an environment as it's gonna get, another in my little "Mini pictures area" (Spoiler: It's literally just my desk with a piece of white paper behind it. Sorry to ruin the magic! ), and lastly one of my favorite goblin. Any constructive criticism is welcome!

Sidenote: I'm still not confident enough to try out eyes. I'll get to that eventually.

I'm really happy with the faces and the flesh on these little rascals. They also make me one step closer to having the whole 2018 Dungeon Dweller set painted, which is something that I hope to achieve someday, lol.

      So,

In our 'modern' world everything is classified by species, genus, etc, and has a name...

@Glitterwolf, @Chaoswolf, and their ilk are Canis Lupus, Humans are Homo Sapiens, etc

What would the "Scientific" name for Goblins be???

Besides worthless Drow Slaves and Crossbow fodder...

Along with the Pyros, I also painted up a set of the Goblin Warriors. Another Bones 1 set that had excellent detail and great character.

      Sculpted by Ben Siens.

I liked these little guys enough that I think I'm going to pick up a set in metal and try for more precision.
