So a buddy of mine and I have been discussing key chain accessories and items that make your keys more efficient.

We come across 2 items of significant worth.

Go Key (not to be confused with getgokey)

Key Smart

I wanted to see if anyone has used these OR if anyone has any other recommendations?

This is an on going investigation and your help would be great.

Feel free to share what you use now.

I use a simple ring with a carabiners and a small Leatherman mini-multi tool on it.

I use a ring with keys on it. ::P: Actually, two. One for the car, one for the house / mailbox. My house ring has a Blair's skull on it, that's about it. Can't stand having extra junk on my keyring because it makes it harder to get the keys lined up properly to sit nicely in my pocket, and that actually really bothers me. Yes, I'm weird. ::):

I have a ring with my truck key and lock/command start fob on one end of a carabiner, and a ring with the rest of my keys, house, dad's trucks, other stuff on the other end, also a small knife and a bottle opener. That gokey or something similar might be handy, not sure about that other, it doesn't look as if it would fit many of my regular keys

The key smart is really interesting. I actually found it more useful. If you look it up and go to their web site it shows how it can fit multiple keys and they have a flash drive that can go inside of it. But I'm still on the fence about any key chain accessory.

I only have two keychain accessories. A carbiner style clip so I can clip them to my purse and a bottle opener.

sounds like me, but we need to get you a small knife

I have a small knife, but it's not on my keychain, but in a lesser used purse pocket. Less chance of someone at work seeing it and freaking out for no good reason.

I have a carabiner clip with my office key, desk key and file cabinet key.

I have a carabiner clip with my house key, smart key for the car, remote starter, mom's house.

I hate clutter on my key chains.  I don't carry a bottle opener on the keychain because I don't think I have ever been somewhere I couldn't get a bottle opener.  Plus I have my Leatherman in a pinch.

I have a knife on my belt. Then again, I'm military, so people expect that when I'm in uniform. Strangers will just come up and ask, "Hey, can I borrow your knife for a sec?"

The worst part about it? IT'S NOT VISIBLE! My uniform top covers it.

Just to make the go "Woah!" you should pull out the knife in your boot top!

I keep my house key in my wallet, so I only have one key on my keyring.

I have my car key with a ring through it, attached to another ring which has a tiny braided nylon thing hanging off with a tiny thermometer and compass on it (thermometer works okay, compass is largely useless), a Reaper logo keyfob, and a tiny carabiner clip with three things on it: a key-knife (looks like a regular key but twice as thick and has a fold-out penknife blade), a tiny LED flashlight and a tiny bottle-opener which I may or may not ditch at some point...

(I considered attaching my Jack-knife (yes, it's a swiss-army-style pocket knife with "Jack" on it, lol) to my keychain but the thing's a little too heavy to keep my keychain in the "manageable" category)

I have long nails. Decorating them with nail art is one of my hobbies. I use the bottle opener on soda cans as well as bottles because after how long it took me to get that little snow fairy (The death star, boba fett's helmet, Loki's name in Norse runes...) on my nails and looking right, I try to avoid breaking them.

I have a carabineer with 3 rings on it.  The car ring (my FOB, my car key, the wife's car key), my key ring (two work keys, house key, and two master lock key that I forget what they go to) and my rewards card ring (all of the discount cards and my library card).  I carry a money clip so I only have room for cash and 4-5 cards.  Everything else goes on my key ring.  I used to carry an all in one tool on my key ring as well, but that disappeared a couple of years ago when I took it off because I was flying and worried that the TSA would confiscate it.  So naturally, I promptly lost it.
