Tiger Bust WIP

It might actually fetch a higher price unpainted.  Particularly if the top layer is in a nice pseudo-alabaster material.  Or if you were able to use it to make bronze copies for the zoo gift shop and auction off the original.  That way it's an "artists' model" vice a painted figurine.

I'm not sure.  They are something that crawled out of my brain a few years back.  I work on them every now and then when I don't have any active commissions and just want to relax. I guess I can take pictures and make another post with them.

Great idea! I'll be following this for sure...

Looking at the front view, I think it might be a bit narrow, but it's hard to tell from a photo.

Incidentally, there's some excellent multi-view skull photos on these two pages:

http://wildfact.com/forum/topic-who-is-the-king-of-the-tigers?page=2

And get someone to buy you this book for Christmas... it's really good, musculature, skeletal restos, posing etc:

The Big Cats and Their Fossil Relatives: An Illustrated Guide to Their Evolution and Natural History

Can't wait to see this one!

cheers

Michael
