absolutely, I can picture obi-wan having to keep luke safe from the inquisitors

I like to tell my friends this theory about Darth Maul (note: I have not seen any of the rebel series)

 

The reason we will not ever see Darth Maul again is in his rage after the clone wars series he went looking for Obi-wan on Tat. and found him. After a prolonged battle Obi-wan finally killed him.

People really want the new head bad guy to be someone they already know don't they.

Of course this ignores the fact that Vader/Anakin is dead, Luke burns his body on a pyre at the end of Return of the Jedi and his ghost hangs out at the victory party. What his force ghost possesses someone, and then goes about scaring it it up so he feels more at home?

What I've gathered re: IMAX - select few (like 10-15 or so in the country) are showing true IMAX, and those versions are only true for specific scenes. Otherwise, you're paying premium for the same frame that every other theater is showing.

Ah, that would explain why I didn't feel the typical "Oooooh!" effect of seeing it in IMAX at my local theater (which most certainly would not have the true IMAX version).

 

That and less than ideal seating.

 

So I just saw it on a really big screen, which ain't half bad either.

I have high hopes that Ben Solo returns to the light side and becomes a mommas boy. I'm not saying that in a demeaning way, just I don't want his death. I'd rather he be vindicated.
