Thanks!I'm not a Dr. Who fan, but my brother enjoys it. Should I have bought 4 angels? Is that a thing?

Sorry, I was being a bit obscure there.  The "Weeping Angels" show up in an infamous episode of Dr. Who called "Blink," written by Steven Moffat.  My reference to four Weeping Angels surrounding the Tardis was meant to indicate a particular scene from the story -- but if you haven't seen the episode, then it'd have no real meaning.  Really, just having two Weeping Angels and a Tardis is quite sufficient to get the idea across, I think.  :)

(I'm not especially a Dr. Who "fanatic," but during the early seasons of the Dr. Who reboot, I particularly enjoyed several episodes written by Steven Moffat.  I think it's particularly because he took several of the tropes that were particular to Dr. Who in general, and then played with expectations, sometimes even inverting a trope or two, making those particular episodes stand out, in my entirely subjective opinion.  Of them, I think "Blink" is my favorite -- even though there's an awful lot about the adversaries that is just plain silly, and doesn't stand up well to "fridge logic" if you think too hard about the workings.  :)  But then, over-thinking Dr. Who probably spoils the fun in general.)

"Blink" is often listed on "best Who episodes" lists... for all that the Doctor barely appears in it. It's also nice in that all you have to know is that the Doctor is a time traveler, and the blue box is his time machine. That's it. Recent seasons, you've had to be firmly rooted in the show's mythology to have ANY idea what's going on.

But "Blink" stands alone.

And, strangely, Moffat considers it a throwaway episode.

Nicely done, Marineal! A little bright on the blue, but well done, nonetheless!

That is exactly what I know about it. And something about crying about someone named Rose. Or River, or Song or something.

The blue did turn out a little bluer than I meant to...If you google 'tardis' there are about 19 different shades of blue of all the different things.

I decided that it was blue, and I was just gonna go with it. :)

I'm glad y'all like it. Bodes well for tomorrow!

Pantone 2955c is the BBC sanctioned T.A.R.D.I.S. blue. It's more of a...faded(?) color. Really kind of close to Reaper's 09231 Heather Blue. Maybe a bit darker? It's hard to tell on a monitor.

Still, this Doctor approves.

Yep. That's a Tardis all right. :;):

I think the lighter blue works. It's like it hasn't completely transitioned yet.

And then ... how to make the Tardis look like it's disappearing?  ;)  )

That's it! We need a casting in the translucent plastic! ::o:

Quick everybody! To the Bones minis we want to see thread! This has to happen!
