Kingdom Death: Monster - Female Intimacy

Recommended Posts

I kinda like it - the bold colors and the minimal facial shading give her a very cartoon or anime appearance (the hair helps sell this) - it really works and is a refreshing change from gritty reality

you should be happy: she is very nice and more importantly she is FINISHED! one step closer to a clean slate for the new year!!!

She's beautiful!  I like the way you accomplished the anime look.  Kind of was hoping one of the faces had a look of pleasant surprise though, you know:  ftl.

Well, she looks totally anime.  Good work, even if you don't like the figure.

Presenting Octoberfest Aya, a pair of seasonal themed minis from Kingdom Death. Like all their recent holiday releases you get a large scale pin-up version, and a smaller, not quite so scantily dressed, gaming one.

There's a few issues (painting beer is hard!) and they're both a bit rougher looking in hand, but I'm really happy with them, particularly Big Aya as I don't paint many large scale minis.

      Working on something new.
I don't paint many large scale minis, so thought I'd make a thread.

Like all the newer Kingdom Death holiday releases, you get a large display mini and a smaller gaming mini, in this case it's range regular Aya as some sort of adventuring barmaid.
I made a little start to the larger Aya:-

Working on her barrel as it will involve lots of messy drybrushing. So far the barrel has had a basecoat of Parasite Brown/Ochre Yellow, the barrel stand is a base of Parasite Brown/Scarlett Red and the fancy end is Bronze. It then all got a good coat of Brown Wash.

Presenting the Chimera, a monster from the game Etherfields by Awaken Realms.

Not super happy with her skin, it went blotchy and all my attempts to fix it made it worse!
Despite that, I think she ended up pretty snazzy.

Hello everyone, here are pictures of the third model I entered in the Pathfinder painting contest. This is the metal version of 60009 Seoni the Sorceress sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.
The challenging part on this one was painting the tattoos and the other freehand on her clothes.

Recently finished this lovely mini from Dark Sword. Toyed with a few ideas but the winter theme ended up being the one that stuck. I wish I had had more time to spend on it but I am happy with how she turned out.
