Sorry it's been a wile since I updated you heroes. With the holidays and getting ready for the Kickstarter I have been very busy.

That's a good thing right? :)

Anyway it's time for another update, and rememebr you can also follow us on Facebook to get updates as well, and the Chibi Gamers Group on FB, we are there allot. :) Its time for the update.!

When we first talked about the Kickstarter we said that the miniatures would be 30mm and be cast in metal. That has changed. Now the miniatures willbe 30mm and cast is resin. Yeah I know you will like that. We also said that we would have 10 miniatures, 2 that you will fund and up to 8 stretch goals. That has changed as well. The max will now will be 8 miniatures and not 10. Also we said that each charcter would come with a card for the SCC game. At this time we can not do that but, when the game is launched all characters will have a card for the game and will be included in the game. Speaking of the game. In the KS we have a limited pledge that will allow you to get a "Playtest" version of the game. This will be limited to 35 backers so, first come first serve. This is not the full blown game but is 95% there. If you back at that level you will be expected to play the game and give us feed back to make the game better.

Right now we are working the numbers for the KS and trying to get all the characers finalized but we are pushing it. Our main issue to be honest is shipping. Shipping is expensive now days and we are trying to figure a way to do it right. Right now it looks ike Shipping will be charged after the fact unless we can find another way of doing it. Our main thing with this KS is that you have 3 pledge levels $1, $30, and $50, and no matter what level you pledge you get everything with no added extra add on's out side of shipping. The main pledge is $30 wile the limited pledge is the $50 that will give you acces to the "Playtest" version of the game. The $50 pledge is just like the $30 but, again with the game added.

So there you go an update. We are trying to do a January 25th launch but we will see if we can make it. Wish us luck!

We start off with Elizabeth "Sweetie" shown above and below. She was sculpted by the amazing Heriberto Valle Martinez for a very special cause to us here at MidKnight Heroes. You see on November 16th 2015 my wife Elizabeth (natakues wife) had two brain aneurysms and lived. It has been hard on our family and had hot the pocket book pretty hard. In an effort to help, he sculpted a miniature to help raise money for medical bills. Thus Elizabeth was born. We designed a character inspired by her but fit our would as well. That is why she is a hair dresser/warrior as the real Elizabeth is a hair dresser. We hope you enjoy this character as much as we do and she will be a main stay in the MKH universe.

Elvia is a character in our up and coming world known as “The Omega Sagaâ€. The Omega Saga will be a very special world and have a very special tabletop skirmish game to go with it but, the world/characters and game of The Omega Saga are still under development at this time. We plan to have it ready by early 2017 or sooner.

Just want to remind everyone that next Monday the 25th at 12:00 pm cst we will launch our Super Chibi Kickstarter. The core set in this Kickstarter will feature two Miniatures, Chibi Elvia (A KS only miniature) and Elizabeth a miniature that is not only a tribute to my wife but a MAJOR character in our Super Chibi Universe and, our first Digital Art book. In this Kickstarter we also have 4 more characters planed as stretch goals and just an FYI, this KS is very front loaded, so they will unlock very soon. Spread the word and help this company get started off with a bang!

There's a "k" in "MidKnight" that is missing from the title of this post.  Not that I think it should be there, because I don't.  That's just my opinion.

But if you search "Midnight Heroes" on google you won't find this company come up.  Which I think is bad.

You will however find an interesting late night delivery service in Delhi.  Which makes me hungry for take away indian food.

The thing with this is that shipping for 1 mini (not interested in Sci Fi) is always extraordinary expensive.

So I'll just hope loads will get unlocked. And I hope there will be more minis of the same "type" (so not a mix of chibi, "normal", fantasy, postapocalyptic, sci-fi, 25mm, 35mm).

It's a bit like selling cars, bread, pillows and typewriters: the chance that people actually want it all is relatively small. And shipping gets pretty high.

So a new chibi project has launched on Kickstarter, currently just a small line of figures, he's working on the game right now.  It's looking pretty good, he's got a preview on the kickstarter.

$30 get's you the figures he currently has available as well as all unlocked stretch goals.

This is the 22nd project my wife and I have worked side by side together on. Posted tbis on Facebook but first time adding our project to the forums. I hope you like our Interpretation of the KS  Mammoth not sure if the is a SKU for it. C&C more than welcome. Felt with it being a mammoth a more wintery theme should be more in keeping. Enjoy. Stay safe in these troubled times.

I know there are a few folks that do Bolt Action and similar 28mm wargaming (@buglips), so I thought I'd bounce this out there.
Railroads are an important means to transport troops, equipment, ammunition and all other kinds of supply to the front. Especially in a country as vast as the Soviet Union with it's endless steppes, only few reliable roads and no major rivers running in the direction of the German advance during Operation Barbarossa in World War II.
With this set of detailed buildings and rolling stock in 1/56 scale for 28mm figures you get the opportunity to recreate the crucial fighting around the Soviet railroad system.
The kits focus on the major pieces of rolling stock available to the Soviet defenders: box cars, gondola cars and flat cars. And the mighty ALCo RSD-1 Diesel Engine which was made available under the US Lend-Lease Act.
Also included is a typical rural train station with optional additional platforms for all who want to depict a Soviet - or captured German - supply depot, where heavy equipment like tanks and guns are being unloaded.
And for all of you looking for an armored train - don't worry! We have you covered.
        Talking about railroad tracks:
We did not see the need to reinvent the wheel, so all kits are designed to be used with
4Ground Railroad Tracks (available as add-ons to the Kickstarter) or O Gauge Model Railroad Tracks The kits include optional parts enabling you to choose your favorite system while assembling. Going this route has allowed us to concentrate on designing and producing the rolling stock only, which has the advantage of an earlier fulfillment date for the Kickstarter.
All models are highly detailed on the outside and inside. The interiors are easily accessible, as roofs are removable. In addition, all doors are moveable, which means you can open or close them during gameplay.

A Viking Girl sculpted by Bobby Jackson. She was a lot of fun to paint since she had a lot of canvas for freehand work. She is also my first serious effort at NMM, so that's a well I plan to return to.
I came to paint her when I asked my friends which model needed to get some love next. I presented a wizard, a ranger, and an armored lady fighter. One chimes in that she'd like to see the fighter (she being a practitioner of HEMA). Her boyfriend mentions something about boob armor. I said, no, she's got pretty normal armor. You want to see something egregious? THIS is egregious. My HEMA friend immediately says, "I'd like to change my vote." So here we are.
Here's the WIP thread for her. Here's my next piece.

This has sod all to do with miniatures, but I would be surprised if there were not people who might want one of these pins, for literally any reason at all.
I'll let the campaign speak for itself, as I usually do; it is pins. There are, as the title implies, representations for most of the common faiths, in a literal rainbow of ... well, Pride rainbows.

"You take your game seriously. Now it's time for a serious screen.
In October of 2018, Dog Might released the first fully sculpted GM Screen, the Valhalla Screen. Since then, we have released over 30 more designs, including officially licensed screens for: Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire: The Masquerade. We have also designed screens for you favorite shows, such as Relics and Rarities and the Critical Role stream of Undeadwood. Over the last year and a half, our Valhalla Screens have proven to be our most sought after product. "
... Would it surprise anybody here to know I want one?
If I can't have one, at least I can spread the word. ;p
