Lars Porsenna
Check out these news articles from TMP: http://theminiaturespage.com/news/?id=623621 http://theminiaturespage.com/news/?id=378833 Although the movie work they're doing for the 2nd article has nothing to do with minis, they clearly suggest ambitions to work on a HG/JC/T8 movie in the 1st. Interesting... Damon.
nadinbrzezinski
COOL... LANDSHIPS... yes I am droolong.... They will make good objectives for HG... tactical. Speaking off, imagine if we had some honest to goodness drop ships, and I do not mean foam with paper on it
Black Lightning 2
Nadin... Those Landships are 1/3500 scale. So, unless you want to move grains of sand around as gears, I don't think they'll be compatible with HG TAC. Heck, I'm not sure if I really want a Resin Dropship... Those things'll be huge and heavy. The Hercules is just fine as far as I'm concerned. As far as DPE goes... I say, "Three cheers for Marc and the gang!" I really hope they do well. HG really deserves to a shot at the big screen, and maybe this will get the ball pointed in the right direction.
nadinbrzezinski
I know but they themselves say... the MINIS are NOT to scale to each other.... and it is more the view from a tactical table for the comander. So I say, COOL still And yes, it will be a good thign for Marc and the gang.
Errex
Was someone here the one that said "Heavy Gear is more like Tom Clancy's Battletech"?. Now, that'd make an interesting premise for a movie...
Lars Porsenna
Was someone here the one that said "Heavy Gear is more like Tom Clancy's Battletech"?. Now, that'd make an interesting premise for a movie... Well I don't think that was me. I think Clancy is a hack. HG IS more realistic, and has a bit more thought in the setting (though far from as expansive, epic, or tragic as BT's one). FREX, the HG setting is one of the only ones I can think of that has openly gay partnerships in postitions of power (IIRC the supreme commander of one army is married to the president of a member state).
