20 years ago, I used to chase people on all fours and bark like a dog.

... Wow, I was a weird 4 year old.

Wow. I guess not much has changed in my mind, mrs. druid.... I don't chase people but I do make angry animal noises if I'm woken up too early.

In my defense, I was ... oh... wait. Disregard.

Good morning frands~

Breakfast tacos are one of my favorite breakfasts! I cannot stand all the sweets that a lot of folks like so early in the morning like syrups or cereals. Donuts are okay if I've had other food and I've been up for a few hours already haha. Breakfast tacos are a necessity when I pack for cons. Potato, egg, cheese, and fresh bacon crumblies all wrapped up in a tortilla! I freeze those, microwave them in the hotel, throw some picante or salsa on top... mmmmmm

I need that for breakfast tomorrow now.

This is why I like you. You get it.

I like mine with migas, refried beans, Spanish rice, bacon, and salsa. Mmmmm

 ...breakfast tacos..!

There used to be a grocery store deli that made the best ones ever. But that store closed, it is all boarded up now...

One of my least favourite parts of being the sharepoint admin is the constant emails of "I can't find this file, can you find it for me?" Right, because I know where every single file is amongst the 200,000+ files that are stored on the site. You're looking for a safety document....so maybe you should look in the safety libraries or, I dunno, ask someone who works in the safety department???

Shaping up to be a good upcoming weekend. Going to see Batman v. Superman Friday night, playing D&D with the guys Saturday (my b-day), so my wife will bake whatever I want and then after the game we are going out to dinner wherever I want to.

Why do political signs around here still say things like "Vote for Soandso, punch this number"?

I don't think we've had punch ballots since shortly after the shambolic 2000 election, hanging chads and all that rubbish.

It's an archaism like "Don't touch that dial! ("What dial?" my kids asked)

Why are save icons still floppy disks? I've not even seen an actual floppy disk in years.

One can punch a button. [?] Buttons are still a thing...aren't they?

If that was all part of the pun train —nevermind— griffins fail at puns.

Not in my town.  It's been fill-in-a-gap-with-a-black-pen ever since they took away the perforated ballots with little awls to punch holes in them.

Well, that or a computer touch screen.  Not something you ever want to punch anyway.

I like to randomly search Wikipedia sometimes. Turns out that the 'Murgatroyd' from Snagglepuss's 'Heavens to Murgatroyd' refers to an English surname. Johanus de Morgateroyde, or literally: Johanus of Moor Gate Royde.

More Gatorade?

On the subject of filling tortillas, I once made wonton burritos because of a throwaway line from Futurama.

Most of the save icons I've seen have been micro floppy disks.

For reference, that would be the 3½" disk. 5¼" disks are mini floppy disks. "Floppy disk", unmodified, properly refers to 8" floppies.

These guys are the truly random offerings I have wrapped up so far this year.  Many were half-finished somewhere beforehand, but I don't keep track of start dates.

To start of 2019 with hopes of a revised Mordheim, I offer another (converted) Pit Fighter to the bloody streets.

Mantic's scatter terrain from Terrain Crate

      A fat jailer from Paizo

A Dwarf Prisoner from the same Paizo set.

An iconic Rat Catch from Mega Minis.  I think Turnkey Miniatures makes it these days.

      A Barbarian porter from Frostgrave

      A Dwarf Waitress from TAG

And a converted Kislevite Archer from Warhammer parts.

Look at all these old fogies, all were trying to get to where we newbies have already arisen to and attain godhood. They only wish they could reach the stars like I have and gain over 30000 err 20 posts!

I do however salute you ancient beings for a randomness thread before there was a randomness thread!

...not just the recently completed Bones Kickstarter II.

We had a lot of good conversations going in the sadly locked Discussion Thread, so we should keep them going! This isn't a place for random nonsequiters and tangents... but every good conversation should have an implicit level of drift, so while we start here with Bones-type talk, we shouldn't feel obligated to keep it on that subject.

Especially since that would quickly get us exiled to the Bones forum.

But on the subject of Bones Kickstarter II, Bryan has created an official Q&A thread over in the Bones forum, and the subject of "what did we not see in this Kickstarter" came up - what stretch goals did we miss? To which Bryan replied...

Since off-topic discussion in that thread is discourage, I thought I would come over here for my response...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHY GOD WHY WE MISSED TALIN ART NONONONONONONONO

YES. SHE MUST BE MINE, HUZZAH!

ETA: She's one I really hope gets the double treatment, Bones and metal, but if I had to pick one... mrrrgh. I think, if she's Large, I'd prefer Bones. If she's human sized, I'd prefer metal...
