Went out for a long walk in celebration of Independent Bookstore Day and the Brooklyn Bookstore Crawl I managed to hit up 5 stores, plus the FLCS, and walked over 5 miles. Not bad... Didn't buy too much, but it was nice to get the exercise, and also to be able to check out some really cool local shops.

How Very Cool !!!!!!!  I would have enjoyed the Brooklyn Bookstore Crawl.

I haven't been to the City in ages !

I met up with an unknown Cousin yesterday (with her 82 year old mother).

At the end of the visit I said.. "Oh, a Gift for you".. and gave her 40 cookbooks".. ROFL.

She was speechless ( I know she likes to cook).  First Editions of Julia Child, Leone's Italian Cook book (from Gene Leone of Mamma Leone's Restaurant, and European, Jewish, Moroccan, Russian, and Scandinavian Cookbooks.  Think she flipped over the Two Fat Ladies cookbooks.

I had all of them.  Two shelves empty, 12 more to go !

Kinda wanna paint, but don't wanna drag all the stuff out and find someplace to do it. Quandary.

I used to get that a lot, it really kills your motivation if you don't have an area set up ready to go.

Don't know if I'm going to have the gumption to paint much today, but I'll at least get some photos taken of recently completed minis and maybe assemble some Mongol cavalry.

I insist on having at least 30 minutes of painting every day!

I'm just not happy if I'm NOT doing it.

I have so many high priority projects going on, that I need that Nourishment of my spirit to paint for half an hour.

I have an entire library to empty...(I'm giving away most of the books, to friends, and the public Library).

So many things in that room have value to specific individuals.. (I have a 1947 Singer Sewing Machine).. in working condition.

The stupid light still works.. it is a wide harp machine (with ALL the attachments).. was given to me years ago.

Now I want it gone, but I want it to go to someone that will appreciate it.. Great gift for a quilter !!!!

This week will be spent cleaning out a room (and cleaning up a new  mini to paint.. after my clown frog..LOL)

I'll at least do some touching up of the orc warrior that I just "finished". Yesterday was a long day though, I got home from the concert close to midnight after being up since 3am, so I don't think I'm up to anything too arduous.

Good Morning!  I did have a bit to catch up on!

Good Aftermorning!  I would offer a greeting hug but I seem to be held in place by a rather large amount of webbing at the moment!

Just shows you've been properly hugged.
