Well, back at work. Brain's a little bleary, and traffic was miserable. On the other hand, my 7 person party party of mostly 3rd level characters managed to take out 6 river trolls in last nights Castles and Crusades game. Then we ended things by getting caught overnight by a group of stinky ghouls. That's where we'll pick up next week.

I think I'm going to declare that this was a successful weekend. I actually feel reasonably alive and refreshed and human. Hooray!  

 

Now I just need to figure out this code I wrote last week... I'm pretty sure I didn't actually earn my paycheque last week.

I had a pretty busy week and weekend, but I managed to get some paint on minis and a game plan ready for May art!

Our CIO retired and he was a great guy, mostly hands off, hired the right people and trusted them etc.. new guy is from Chase, wants this and that and wants them right now.. and has now decided to give the IT department a 'brand' because obviously everyone cares about what the IT departments 'brand' is

 

This is an honest to god sentence from the email announcing our brand name

 

'Our top-level branding will reinforce the values associated with acting as one team, encourage horizontal thinking and eliminate unnecessary silos. Continuing to reference each functional area separately doesn’t add value to our brand, encourage cross-functional transparency or increase collaboration.'
