Sewer beast.....monster....thing. Metal Magic/EM4 miniatures

I honestly can't remember where I got this, or who made it, so if you know please let me know.

 

This is a quick speed paint/experiment. Other than primer, I did the whole thing with a succession of different washes, inks, and a little bit of drybrushing until it looked sufficiently grungy and disgusting. I think it took me about 2 hours all together.

It certainly looks revolting. It might be a little dark; I think you could get away with daubing a few medium green to pale green highlights on a few upper curved surfaces. And I think you have a hair caught under one of the tentacles.

Looks pretty gnarly.  I'll echo the others and suggest bringing the brightest highlights higher--making the bubbles pop, visually--not literally--and distinguishing the creature from the base.

I think it looks really interesting. I like the almost mono-color look it has, looks very much like a sewer or deep sea creature of some sort.

I like the subtle layers of color. It may be a mess of different paints, inks, and washes, but it's clearly not just dip and shade.

Very interesting, I wonder who made it first and sold the rights to who. I've only got the one, and I remember buying it in a blister pack that had the Metal Magic logo on it.

I used a light green base coat, a green ink, a purple ink, a blue wash,a green wash , a brown ink, and finally a little white/yellow/light green dry brushing

They were sold both separatly from Metal Magic as in a set.

Later when the rights went over to Em4 they sold it as a set I believe.
