Frankly, I would just go to the personal care section of your local drug store.  They had all shapes and sizes there.  Some  are designed for plucking single hairs so the should be able handle anything.

My fave tweezers are actually from there as well! most longest lasting set I've had.

Although I guess if you're adventerous you could also check out scientific supply places for various forceps (which in clude what we usually call tweezers)

Nother good place to look is a beauty distributor , like one that sells to the public. The ingrown type are particularly good, because they have a needle like tip. Lash extention techs have 3-4 styles that are great to use, but no need to buy a high end name, the Body Toolz brand out of Nevada - has quite a few styles that are really nice and well priced. (At least I think so.).

It's worth looking at the jewelry making section of hobby stores like Michael's and Joann's, they often have small tools useful to us.

Reverse tweezers (you have to press to release the arms, that's probably not the real name) can be useful for those times when you wish you had a third hand to hold something.

I loved my reverse tweezers. Wish I knew what happened to them.

A couple more good places to get them is Riogrande, and Nilecorp.  Both of the sites are jewelry supply sites, but Riogrande has higher quality items than Nile.

I'd recommend a nice set of reverse tweezers, known as cross lock tweezers, and a third hand stand for them too.  I'd avoid tweezers from China.  If you can find them, because they are getting much harder to find, ones made in either Switzerland, Germany, or USA.  In fact for any hand tool, barring disposable razor blades, I'd recommend getting ones that are made in either Switzerland, Germany, or USA.
