I did some of the greenstuffing last night, mostly around the neck and wing joins. Decided this morning I want the whip on the other side and moved it from one hand to the other, flipping the flame/tentacle bit over. Will look tonight at the hobby store for weapon inspiration and/or material for the possible trident.

How about a large Demonic spiked shield?

That'd be cool since he has 2 weapons.

I'll contemplate a shield but since his most likely use is for 40k I'm probably not going to go that route.

Powershield?

Or how about a victim ?  Maybe holding one of those pesky Space Marines or Space Elves ..Eldar?

Both would be cool but would require giving up a weapon and I like the whip and am pretty enamored of the idea of a trident. If not a trident, I'll likely take the existing sword blade and add a pole arm shaft to it to make a glaive.

You could always impale a Space Marine on said trident..win win..

Ok after much noodling and pawing through the bits mountain, I think I may have come up with a suitable plan for a weapon but I'm going to need a spare Wolf Demon to defenestrate.  Basically I'm going to use parts of the claws to build a military fork.  Of course I didn't figure this out till I got home so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to see if the store has one in stock.

This is a vintage mini, Grenadier Dragonman Sorcerer, I got it from a BOGW a few years ago.

I will use him as a Demon Officer in my Children of the Grave army, because I think he looks a bit like a classic Demon.

Hi everyone, I completed this one last night. 02181, Sirithis the Succubus sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. This is a Dark Heaven Legends model. I painted her with Reaper MSP paint and mounted her on a 40 mm round base sku: 74033. Censored for the younger audience. Uncensored version of the pictures can be found on my blog or FB page.

Hi everyone.  Got a couple more demons for you today.  This is a pair of Bones Fly Demons for use as Chasme in D&D.  These guys could also serve double duty as Giant Flies for Rangers of Shadow Deep.

      More Below the Spoiler:

Feel free to check out more of my demons and devils in my Blood War project HERE.

If anyone has any leads on other interesting giant fly minis please share them, as I've been finding it difficult to find good models for RoSD.

Also, how do you paint insect wings?  They're such a unique feature in the animal kingdom and I'd love to see how you go about it?

The current center-piece of my Demonic Army, a Balrog "Balor."

This is "Errtu, Balor" from the Legend of Drizzt D&D Board Game.  I painted him up about a year ago and he was one of the first huge minis I ever attempted.  There's a lot that I wish I'd done better looking back on it, but you have to make mistakes to get better!
