The Little Folk have FINALLY reached the head of the line. SO my next group will be the Goblins of Rapunzel's Twisted Tower & Goblin Village board...otherwise known as Rebel Minis' Dark Hold Goblins.
Knights, Henchmen, Pack Rat, & a Villager Volunteer:

The Militia:

AND the ones I've started on...naturally with all those minis based & primed, I've started painting the unbased & just now primed ones; The Villagers:

The Leader of The Rat:

The Thinker:

The Foil:

AND The Fink, front view then back:

The foil & The Fink are a team; i.e., the former takes the blame & the latter makes sure he does.
...& there you have What-I'll-Be-Doing-For-Awhile...with an occasional shiny break.

What a bunch. I love the Foil character's face. The Fink has that "who, me?" look. Looking forward to more.

Thanks for the reply, Mierot. I think the minis, tiny as they are, will be fun to paint; AND I hope their progress is enjoyable to follow.

The idea with The Foil & Fink is The Foil is standing there holding his knife while The Fink points accusingly at him while holding his own knife behind his back. I'm undecided as whether to base the pair separately or together on gaming bases or as part of the scenery...separately has an edge in the decision.

These characters are INCREDIBLE !!

Look at all that personality !

Honestly, I'm in awe !

Malefactus, I truly adore the world that you are creating!!!

This is just PURE GENIUS !

I can't wait to see this all come together.

You sir, are an inspiration, and I wish I could confer a knighthood, or superior honor !

Sadly, I am just another painter of miniatures, though I aspire to be a significant as you are.

Salut !

Squeee! They're soooo cute :D

They do have a certain charm all their own. I'm glad you like them, Guildenstern.

Thanks for the enthusiastic response, Jay; you brightened my day...that is much appreciated!

I also think the Little Folk have an abundance of wonderfully silly character; AND they fit perfectly with my bizarre fantasy world. In this case I am just a painter & baser of miniatures also...of course, there are a couple of personable Mushrooms that I can take credit for.

As the Crew progresses, I'll start taking the photos on the Rapunzel board; hopefully you will see that develop as the miniatures do.

These are great! The goblins look like littl rat-men.

Thanks, Pingo. The Rat Look I think has to do with their grandiose noses,  long pointy ears, & SERIOUSLY NASTY overbites...they are valued companions to drinking buddies in a pre-twist off era,

Love the "Cavalier" figure!* I must have that one. ha ha

*the one with the pig.

The Jousters are the miniatures that sold the range to moi. One of our Forum Guys painted one of them & based it in a sewer type vignette base. It was a BEAUTY...I hadn't realize the potential until I saw that piece.

ADDENDUM: The vignette I was thinking of was done by Dontfear. The thread is here:

AND this is his vignette:

I'm actually looking at their site now. Funny I knew about the human adventurers they made but not the goblins (I have Gwen the Ranger).

Really getting ideas as I need some new minis for some of the goblin PCs for We Be Goblins.

Curious is the goblin rider seperate? Heck I could use the pig too, ha ha

I had to think a minute; re, I based the minis up quite awhile ago. The pig has the rider legs & lower body attached with a cup like opening that the torso fits in...it allows a certain amount of positioning options.

Did you check out the spoilers I put up...that vignette is my inspiration for the Dark Hold pieces?

Another great bunch of bickering Goblins.

I love the Packrat and those Knights are awesome.

But the ones who stand out right now.. The Foil and the Fink.

Who killed that guard?

Wasn't me...he did it.!!

Thanks, Xherman. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. I have the Fink & Foil standing next to the Evil Faerie with the shears. She looms over them. So the finger pointing has even more meaning. I'm glad the story line played out.

Cuteness overload! I will gladly adopt any orphans if they need homes! Ha!

I'm delighted you like them. Pochi. Now when I run out of room, I know where to send them.

Season 2 of Batman: Gotham City Chronicles is kind of all over the place, so my posts will be too!

First up, Professor Pyg's Gang.  They don't have names, as far as I can tell, so I named them myself.

The Gang.  Unlike most henchmen, these are all unique sculpts.

"Bojack Horseman" - The Hawaiian shirt didn't quite come out as I had hoped, the red flowers blended in with the orange shirt, but the yellow really gets the point across so I'm happy.  Not sure how I would do it in the future, maybe use a brighter orange?

      "Nurse Raamsy"

      "Chicken Kiev"

      "Raging Bull"

B:GCC - Mission 21 "A Golden Opportunity" has the heroes catch Deadpool Deathstroke mid-robbery as he attempts to steal a formula for kryptonite locked behind a door.

I think my favorite color that I bought from Reaper is their Hazard Yellow.  It slots in nicely between yellow and orange and works wonderfully in a lot of different situations.  I think it is spot on for Deadpool Deathstroke.

Riddler Goons.  I like the color scheme, but I debated for a while if I should switch up the colors a little to make them easier to distinguish on the board.  In the end, I decided against it in favor of the K.I.S.S. principle.  If I play the game enough where it is a problem, I'll be happy.

B:GCC - Mission 19 "A Bloody Transaction" has Gordon and Bullock trying to rescue some hostages from The Red Hood and his gang.

Apparently there are good Red Hoods and bad Red Hoods.  This is the bad Red Hood, possibly the Joker, pre-Joker days (spoiler?).  Or maybe just some random sucker in a stupid outfit.  Who knows.  I think their theme song is "Every Girl's Crazy About a Sharp Dressed Man".

Penguin's Henchmen.  Not a part of the mission, but I had space to paint them.  Their nets had me worried, but I like how they came out.

Just a quick paint of a small, mini robot from Bombshell minis.

He was a simple fun little guy!

      Thanks for looking!
