Popular Post DMAgamus
Hey all, DMAgamus here. I know I just made a different topic, but his is an older mini I painted a few weeks ago, but never finished because I left the base unpainted. Now that I'm trying to learn some basic basing, she's all done. She got the practice snow treatment!
vegascat
She looks nice! What are you using for snow?

Peithetairos
Looking good so far. To add some more interest to the base you could add some brush or stones.
knarthex
Look into Silflor grass tufts for the next time. There are many sizes and colors, some are perfect for snow based minis.
DMAgamus
It's Citadel snow effect. I doubt I'll ever make a pure snow base ever again, I'll add grass tufts and gravel and rocks. This was mostly meant as a 'how does this stuff work' effort.

This was mostly meant as a 'how does this stuff work' effort. Great application for the first time. I sometimes experiment on empty bases so I can see how something turns out for the same reason, makes sense to grab an old mini and do the same. Keep up the great work and experimenting! tiniest rhombus
I've always like this mini, great work on her and the base. I'm a big believer in experimenting with different techniques. Try and learn is what I say. :-D
