Goblin With Mushrooms Metal Magic by Glitterwolf

Recommended Posts

Between my bigger projects ( Tuma and Stree Violence) I wanted to do something small.

Heavily inspired by Malefactus his Last Hurrah Project, I wanted to do something wih mushrooms and Goblins.

I had this little Goblin Musician from Metal Magic laying around since the 90's , about time right?

He is a nice little guy with a bagpipe,

I sculpted the base with Milliput and some mushrooms, and added some resin mushrooms from Ristul's Market.

Based ...

More to follow soon,

Oh Malefactus, Herman is crowding your theme!

Looks good!

The gob going to be blue or Tangerine?

Actually I want to go very old style GW on this one, which should lead to a more yellow hue.

Undercoat brown, work it up to a nice sick yellow, maybe a hint of green.

I did more work on the Goblin, he threatened to play that bagpipe all night if I didn't...

I used Scale75 Despair Green as a shadow for the chainmail and then highlighted that with Scale 75 Thrash Metal. '

Used Scale 75 Inktense Green on his skin and highlighted with Scale 75 Goblin Flesh.

Did his teeth with Game Effects Rotting White and a bit of Scale 75 White Sands mixed with Tenere Yellow.

The Bagpipe bag with Scale 75 Blood Red and the pipes themselves with Reaper Intense Brown.

The heads are a mix of Reaper Rosy Highlights and BC Pink, a small amount of scale 75 Inktense Black and then a little Scale 75 Kalahari Orange as a wash.

His eyes with Scale 75 Sol Yellow and then Kalahari Orange and Inktense Black

The Clothing is Scale 75 Sunset Purple highlighted with te same colour mixed with Blood Red.

The Mushroom stems are Scale 75 Miskatonic Grey.

Then for the brown ones the hoods are Reaper Blackened Brown.

The red ones Scale 75 Deep Red.

We have a long way to go this little fellow and me, but he seems to be satisfied for the moment.

Display Goblins are more interested in completion than their R.P.G./War Game Brethren, who know a horrible death awaits them once finished. That aside, the Little Green Guy looks better with each post. Have FUN with the painting!
