Dwarven Warcaptain vs. the Goblins

This is awesome !
I love how you re-purposed the torch-bearing goblin as trying to dismount Ursula.
The concept and execution are phenomenal.

I love it!  A great scene that tells the story w/o the need for prompts.

That's what I was hoping to achieve! My buddy at work still thinks the goblins are dead meat.

Thanks! One idea sort of cascaded against the next and the whole thing came together. It was a lot of fun!

That is a WONDERFUL narrative vignette, BEAUTIFULLY staged, crafted, & painted. VERY WELL DONE!

...the best stories are the ones that tell themselves. This one played out SPLENDIDLY.

Very nice! I've ordered Thorvald the dwarf bear rider and plan on painting him up as soon as I get him and assemble him, so I'm pretty much just looking at all the images of painted bear minis.

OO! This is FANTASTIC!

Love the scene, Aaron. You really did an exceptional job of telling a little story on this and the sense of action is amazing!!

I'm fairly happy with these two, especially how the bases turned out. Other than that, I'm still working on consistent lighting and how top make the picture look good on both the phone and on a monitor. Also I may need to get some sort of air purifier, because the amount of dust that forms and how ridiculously quick it appears, is well... ridiculous!

Thank you @malefactus for recommending this guy to me so very long ago. He was absolutely perfect for my needs. Now it's just to bad I can't get a game in.

Hmmm. his one eye looks a bit weird up close. Oh well, on the table he just looks confused.

I'll need to look up who made him again in a bit, so I can put that info in the title.

Big Boss Goblin for eventual theoretical Frostgrave. Fairly happy with his armor and jowels

It's been a while since I've painted a Reaper miniature, so I thought I would post my latest creation here.

I had a lot of fun painting this mini - blue is one of my favorite colors to blend with, and I enjoy painting fun hair, like her braid in the back.  TMM was used on the metal.

      44082 Cave Bear (#624)

The cave bear lived from the Pleistocene era (That's the Ice Ages to us normal folks) which lasted from 2.580.000 years ago to about 11.700 years ago. However, it seems to have gone extinct about 24.000 years ago. Which certainly is contemporary with modern humans.
Them cave bears must have been delicious. And the shaggy furs kept us warm in those cold, cold caves.

60x35mm base. Sculpted by Jason Wiebe.
