At the end of the day, in mature reflection, considering all the factors, and adding as much biz-speak as possible, my Mage Knight castle parts are going to soldier on.

They're not as nice as the DF stuff, but DF likes its castle parts even more than I do.

I'm sure that those who do buy in will be very happy with what they receive.

Mage Knight castle parts are what I use too and have served me well. For castle interiors I'll be using my Stones tiles.

No doubt a fully built DF castle would look mighty impressive on a gaming table though.

Still not bitten on this again.  I just can't see us using these on the table given setup and take down time.  How I would love a gaming area where I can leave something like this setup.  Just doesn't make sense for my group still.  And again, they are wonderful.  Just not for me.

Update with just under 4 hours left. For those of you who have KS 3 Streets and wanted T, 4-way, and dead-end alleys, they will be adding a Wicked Alleys pack in the pledge manager with these pieces.  Some people have been holding out for this, so maybe it's relevant to some folks in here as well.

Nevermind I just saw the announcement in the comments section from one of their sculptors, Lady Sabelle:

***I'm going to start spamming this announcement so that folks just popping in on the comments will see it. Sorry to everyone who has seen this before. It's just too exciting to keep quiet. Stefan via Elye has confirmed a Pledge Manager add-on for the much needed new Alley pieces. That's T's, Dead Ends and 4 ways. Since we still have not gotten word on whether or not the $1 pledges will be able to upgrade to something that allows add-on during the PM, I suggest if you want Alleys, up your pledge now to the Add-on only level!! That's the safest way to ensure you'll have access to any new stuff! ***

I've been happy with buying in to these on a basic level, just enough to get stretch goals. I have to remind myself that every 10lb of dwarvenite has to be carried into the game shop when we play. I recently divided the three kickstarters up into 3 tubs, just so I could carry only the ones I needed for the day.

But darn it, I keep looking at huge builds with streets and sewers, which makes a pretty awesome display. I'll be happy with my tower, but there's an awful temptation to expand the pledge when I get the pm.

And I safely escape the lure of this KS from Dwarven forge.  although I might get talked into some retail stuff from their last KS or some more caverns....  bonus money showed up out of nowhere and is burning a hole in my pocket. :wow:
