Dwarven Forge KS4

It would take a rather creative use of geometry to do something else.

On another note, all the curved stairs I received curve the same direction instead of a mix.

well I was also thinking larger round rooms as well to mix in with KS 1 stuff.  It could still be useful but I'm not sure I want a whole tower if I cant continually put the floors around each other.

I'm guessing that's an error...

I am not sure how you could design something that could continually grow in size. The curvature of different sized circles is different. Each layer outward would require a different kind of piece.

I did not back this and I have the sads.

It is amazing how no matter how much I buy, I always feel that I need more.

Wow! ::o:

Now that's a castle!

I'm so glad I didn't get into this.

I don't have room for something like that.

Damnnn. That's impressive. Maybe I didn't follow the project enough, but they should have done something like that to showcase their product.

Very nice pictures so far peeps!

I see Talae needs to do some painting. You were the one posting the picture with the 'hidden' earth elemental? That set seems painted, got a mix?

I have not heard of any shipments making it to europe yet. I got a few things coming, including a fort thing without towers but with crennelations and some LED pieces. :) Can't wait!

Gotta quickly finish painting my other stuff... hmmm....

Actually, I ordered all unpainted. My mountain box was mislabeled. The outside box says unpainted and the inside boxes were all painted.

That is going to be a big headache for DF if it is not just single error by the factory.

Are you unhappy or actually happy with the mistake?

I am happy about it. I mean, I probably would have chosen a slightly different paint scheme, but it is done and ready to use.

It does leave a few questions:

- Did someone who ordered painted get unpainted? :)

- Does your OCD allow you to say 'Yeah I didnt paint those... and that's ok' (mine wouldn't)

Haha maybe you got my mountain set Talae. It was in my packing list but I was told that was a mistake and my painted mountains would ship with my grand citadel whenever it comes in.

That doesn't explain where the unpainted one went, though...

Got mine and love it! small problem though...some magnets are missing. Also: if anyone got the 8x8 'stone' (not mountain) tiles, are they hard plastic or dwarvenite?

      Andowyn Thrushmoor!
It's been awhile since I've painted a plain ol' character miniature. I spent the better part of today working on her and I’m overall pleased with how she came out. I really want to double my skill level by the time Bones V is delivered and I’m proud of my progress! Slowly but surely figuring out how to do faces, this one looks pretty okay, though her right eye is funky.

Since this is my first form post, the picture is her next to my first miniature! It's about four years old and I keep it around the rest of my collection in a place of honor

If anybody here loves cavern terrain and missed DF's first cavern KS KS2, this spring/summer around June DF will have KS6. The theme of KS6 will be Return to the Caverns and should be great fun for those who took part in KS2 or those who are new to DF.

DF had this to say and showed the below teaser pics

We're doing for Caverns what Dungeon of Doom did for Dungeons. A whole new batch of fun pieces to enhance your existing collection, but also completely stand-alone.

      Some of the key features:
New Core Shapes (diagonal wall, convex curves, 1" pieces, etc)
      Passages
Elevation (with stuff that's impossible on graph paper...)
Negative Space pieces (and new Terrain Trays)
      Flashy Pieces (Magnets & LEDs)
      Large pieces (4x4 and larger)

This looks like a very interesting board game with lots of new, fresh ideas and cool artwork (and nice minis - there is even a pledge level for just the minis: around 15 of them for $20 plus shipping):

      About this project

It's a harsh but lucrative business being a mercenary out on the edge of civilization. You must explore the harsh wilderness and engage in deep tactical combat, where the decisions you make have an impact not only on your own character, but also the world around you.

Gloomhaven is cooperative game of card-driven combat set in a persistent fantasy campaign which will change and grow as you play the game.
There is always more to unlock and explore in the world of Gloomhaven.

If you missed the first Gloomhaven Kickstarter (and retail sold out quickly) here is your chance. I backed that game the first time around and could not be happier with the results. Warning ... that box is heavy ...
