Is a Bones Shipping Container a large enough mini to enter when in a diorama?

Also, as I am trying to plan my diorama -

 

I'm not sure I understand the size restrictions. Am I correct in that 1) use reaper minis, 2) 28mm scale is fine 3)  there is no actual limit to the size of the Diorama itself?

 

The reason I'm asking re: minis is that the original post sounds a bit like you have to have one reaper mini > than the others. I'm assuming this is for something like a group fighting off a dragon. But that's not what exactly I'd like to do, my minis are all dwarves.

As far as I am aware, we don't have a size restriction on the diorama.  It just has to be a majority of Reaper figures to qualify for the category and prize.

Unless something has changed for 2017 this particular competition requires a large format figure, including in the diorama category.  And it needs to be a Reaper figure.

So a diorama containing nothing but a flock* of normal 28mm  sized Dwarves would be an issue, but one containing the same flock with Reaper's upcoming** Keg-o-tron 3000 Mead powered Dwarven Battlemech would be fine.

* Is flock of Dwarves right?  It has a ring to it...

** not really, but if they made one I'd order a couple

 

Its not that everyone wouldn't love to see an all Dwarf diorama, it's just that this particular competition was developed to highlight (and get folks painting) Reaper's big stompy larger figures.
