Citadel Goblin Chariots and Out Riders (Pic Heavy)

Recommended Posts

This is the Technicolor Wolf's fault...

Here are some Citadel Goblin Chariots and wolf Riders that I painted up back in collage in the '90s...

The Box:

Full Crew:

Only the Chariot with the Severed Dwarf head on a spike, and it's body nailed to the tongue got finished for some reason....

This Chariot was a blister pack, with a spell caster goblin as the passenger. Never did paint the crew...

The harnesses on the wolves are more advanced on this model...

And 4 different wolf Riders...

I have the crew for the Spellcaster's Chariot, as well as the other chariot from the box set and it's crew, plus another Box chariot with a 3 wolf team still in the box...

Maybe someday they will see paint....

Notice the boxes say Citadel and not GW?

Ahhhh, the "Machineries of Destruction" range...... These are all great, I remember them from back in the day! Good to see that you didn't hold back on the blood. :poke:

Somewhere in the deepest deep parts of my vault, I have the "Goblin King's Battle Chariot" & the "Skull Crusher, Goblin Trebuchet" & I've definitely got that goblin rider with the pole-axe somewhere.

Great stuff, I just bought one of the Battle Chariots on ebay.

The one with the dwarfÅ› head yoke, but with a crewmember wielding a warhammer ( appropiate..right?).

I love the older Citadel stuff, also I recently aquired RAFM's Hartha the Death Machine. Orc Triceratops with a bombard on the back.

I would love to get my hands on the Citadel leadbelcher or the Undead Chariot from that period.

And George, if you got more of those classics painted, show them!!

I still think the old Citadel minis had loads of character.

Scrounging through my collection I seem to have 5 old citadel Chaos Hounds.. they need paint.

So much to do...

On Ebay I have been bidding on some of those very old beastmen, not the goat types...now hoping I can get those for a reasonable price.

I mean I got the chariot ( still need to receive it, but I won the auction two days ago) for at least 25% of what I've seen them priced for now.

It's ridicilous what some people charge.

Saw that in the aquisition thread, so I posted these...

I think I've got that first one around here somewhere!

I've accidentally assembled out of bits from various ebay purchases over the years.

I'm really happy with the faces and the flesh on these little rascals. They also make me one step closer to having the whole 2018 Dungeon Dweller set painted, which is something that I hope to achieve someday, lol.

I painted some minis from the Kill Team: Rogue Trader box. They are originally a nurglish warband called the Gellerpox Infected, but I will use them in my Swampstalkers army for Kings of War.
The second line in the big unit is made of Titan Forge ogre pirates mixed with parts of the Reaper's Crab Man (SKU:44110). They are all now Butchers, and they also have the dedicated hero for them (Fleshripper, one with the cleaver ). Smaller guys are Horrors, wizards in my army.

I painted this GW's Lord of Plagues as a hero for my Swampstalkers. He is now the Swamp Drinker, one of the Reapers  (the unit I showed recently).

And this Morphus from the (unfortunately) defunct Enigma Models was actually painted few years ago. I found him in my display cabinet and though he would make for a nice Swamp Hunter, another hero for my army.  So, here he is, with just a new base

I bought these 16 converted nurgle warriors for my Swampstalkers army and added two Reaper minis (battleguard golem 77169 and Anval Thricedamned, Evil Warrior 77055) to get 3 bases with 6 warriors each.

This is some variant of the Great Unclean One, called Rotigus. I will use it as Terror in my Swamptalkers. He's a big... fellow…
