So, since I was procrastinating on making my base for Rasia I decided to start prepping some more figures to paint.     After see 72Moonglum paint up some old partha's I decided to work on another o

Tonight I decided to finish up the eyes on these guys.  Decided to keep the same eye color on them all, green.  I also gave the skin a lining wash.   Here is the RP Elf eyes all a green:   Next

Added a bit more highlighting to the shirt.  Then I mixed up the pants colors.  Basically took the base coat and gradually added in maggot white with 4 layers of highlight.  Then I shadowed in the pan

Well I black primed the the base for the RP Elf, but it needs another round.  I'll get that done tomorrow.  My muse isn't helping me out with color choices for the Chainmail Elf.  So I decided to pick up the Reaper elf.  Her I think I want to go with a color choice similar to the Huntress from DC Comics.  So rather than green like my first thought, I base coated up her cloak in purple.  From there I finished off her skin some.  Decided to call it quits from the hangouts and here it where I stopped for the night.

Well I got distracted working on some Zombicide walkers.  They are almost finished.  So I returned to working on my elves.  The chainmail Elf is still eluding me, but the Reaper Elf has got a little more work today.  I managed to shade the purple of her cloak.

Here she she is with the cloak started.

I also decided to get to work on finishing the base to get the RP Elf finished by the end of the month.  I still plan to put in a little greenery.

Here is the Elf's base colored up some:

And Reaper's Elf's arsenal grows.  I added the bow to her tonight.  I also highlighted up the cloak.  Waiting till after I paint up some more of the clothing to decided if I need to go lighter or darker on the cloak.  I also need paint up the cloak's trim.  Thinking gold, but I'm not locked in to that.

That purple, it's so pretty. I think silver trim would look nice depending on the rest of the colors.

I like your idea with silver.  Fits with the rest of my color plan.

Speaking of which, it is amazing how adding a little color can change the look of a mini.  I recently picked up the Scale Games Shades of Doom set.  So I decided to use it to color up her clothes.  I also decided I need to rewatch DSM Video I have with how to paint sheer cloth.

Here is all the painting a managed to get done tonight:

So I got almost no painting over the weekend like I had planned.  So I sat down today and told myself I need to paint up her top to see how the Shades of Doom would look.  I like to colors as a black leather.  Now to paint up the rest of the black areas.

Here was the result:

It only took me 35+ years to paint these....
Somewhere, in a box, are the tiny goblins which are the riders to these wolves. Paint job inspired by 72moonglum (mine are a rather poor second to the original I am afraid). https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/64325-ral-partha-goblin-imp-wolf-riders-kind-of-pic-heavy/
I iincluded a shot with the Reaper Warg to give you an idea how small these fellows are. More wolves for the forest! And I finally painted them - wow

Here is a tabletop elven trio. I am satified they will help fill out the ranks of my eerie forest setting...
I liked these better than the other wizkids elves I painted - mostly because the cloaks seemed less rediculously billowy. Pretty decent depth to details too. They seem very elvy to me. s

      Hello all you Reapervellians,
So I had these figures sitting around and primed for probably about two or three years, and then while trying to start up another project, I ended up grabbing these.
These are four new figures, sculpted by Dave Summers, famous for his Darksword anthropomorphic miniatures as well as decades of other finely sculpted figures, that he sculpted for Ral Partha's Chaos Wars game in 2016, associated with a Kickstarter if I recall correctly, and then a rather old figure, the female dwarf, who was sculpted by Dennis Mize back in I think 1977-1978.
Nowadays of course, figures are a lot larger, but Dave Summers sculpted these four new dwarves to that old school 25 millimeter scale, which means they are pretty petite. If I remember afterwards I'll snap some kind of comparison photo with some common item. I always forget to do that for some reason.
      Anyhoos, here they are:

and here's the lady dwarf. I separated her out because I actually have an older version that I did of her years ago as a gift for somebody, and wanted to show it as a comparison.
Here's the one I just painted:

and here she is probably already five or six years earlier:

I had her on a much larger base in the original version.
Anyhow, that's all for today folks, enjoy at your leisure!

Hello everyone, I completed this Wizards of the Coast model today. This is a 88714, Goblin Scout of the Drazen's Horde faction. It's a Chainmail Miniatures model that was sculpted by Jerzy Montwill. The base is 20mm in diameter and I painted it with Reaper MSP paint.

This is the Hill Giant from 77939. I have not finished the cat yet, so I only have the Giant here. I have been trying to add various colors (layers of color for one area/color) to my minis to make them more interesting. Following some of the painters here and other utubers and painters like Angel G. I used an Imperial Purple base for this entire mini and then did Troll Flesh as next base for skin and then built up reddish skin tones for skin and then went lighter tan. Hope you enjoy, I had fun painting him.
