The 'all Deepwars rewards' graphic doesn't actually contain all possible rewards. I'd take the word 'all' out of the link name.

 

Despite my aversion to big hairdresses and aquatic adventures, I keep *almost* pledging on the Deepwars kickstarters. At first it was singling out pieces I like and now it's scaled back hours at work (and one heck of a kickstarter backlog).

It's having a solid first day! really hoping to unlock that new cephalid.

This makes me realize that, while I own most of two factions, I have yet to paint a single one of the minis. I should change that...

 

You should try the method from the deepwars painting guide. it is super fast & easy and looks particularly great on the dark mariners texturing.

 

 

Edit: the new shark only plege level is pretty cool.

Starred.  I'll probably back this for the shark, and I noticed you can get the Dark Mariners Leviathan for ten bucks cheaper than retail as an addon, so that's an option too.  I don't play the game but some of the Cephalid dudes are really unique and interesting minis.  I got a few this winter and I'm looking forward to spring so I can paint them up.  (Too cold here to spray prime half the year, and I don't have much luck with brush-on primers).

I really like that reef base, it would be great for a little vignette, but I'm not sure I want to spend $16 on it. I know it is 100mm, but... yikes.  I'd have to get two of them, too. 

I think that the star terrain will be the whale carcass. Its just so crazy, there will be nothing like it.

It sounds like it will be amazing, but it is not cheap enough for me to likely be able to afford it, unfortunately. I am hopeful to be able to swing a pledge in the $50-$75 range. Honestly, though, the next bonus point goal will give me a third free point if I jump to $100 (one point since I backed over $50 last time). It seems like a crazy thing to do right now with current finances, but three bonus points is something in the range of $24-30 of freebies.

 

Right now I am thinking:

-Captain Pledge - $45

-Beast of Blood Reef Shark - $24

-Cephalid Ethermancer - $10 (I am pretty sure that I own all the Dark Mariners...and most of the underwater-looking Fortune Hunters)

 

I wish that I could afford a bunch of terrain (barnacles, hydrothermal vents, explosive fungal pods, mushrooms, coral reef, whale carcass, etc) and a gaming mat or two. Everything that Antimatter puts out is so pretty...
