March 2016 Goals

It's a day away from March, so I figured I might as well start up the March 2016 Goals thread.

 

This month, my goals are:

• Finish up my Cleric vs Undead diorama - DONE!
• Paint Toad Form for party druid - waiting on figure to arrive
• Paint Dire Boar Form for party druid - waiting on figure to arrive
• Paint up giant spider for party druid - waiting on figure to arrive
• Paint up sorceress w/ wand for party sorceress - No longer needed as the sorceress bit the dust last week.
• Work on some exchanges that I'm doing on the side.
• Get started on another diorama (The Keeper's Sanctum)
• Work on another Vignette that will feature a chase - waiting on a figure to arrive
• Work on Dynamic Lenore, with floating base - Current project, base is 85% done, Lenore took a simple green bath the other day.

 

What are YOUR goals for the month of March?

Wow Ub3R, that is quite an ambitious goal tree !

Since I have slowed down and started being more conscious of basing,

your doing FOUR (4) more than I am a month !  Dang Dude !!

Good luck on achieving all that, I'm sure they will be spectacular !

I forgot to add the spider that I need to paint up too... haha!

 

Well the 4 for the D&D party members (spider, toad, dire boar, and sorceress) are all going to be fast paint jobs for me. I won't spend more than 4-5 hours on each of them (including bases) just to get them on the tabletop to play with.

 

The Cleric is already done, just need to finish up the rest of the diorama which shouldn't take too much longer as I've already put a lot of work into it.

 

Exchange pieces will be done as time allows.

 

Keeper's Sanctum, I'm going to sketch out and make sure I have all the figures I need ready to go and prepped.

 

Chase Scene vignette - I already have most of the basing done (having done it at the Las Vegas Open), have one of the figures and am waiting on the 2nd figure to arrive that I ordered.

Start On General Drake

Spend no money on Miniature and miniature related things this month.

Contemplate buying a W&N brush

Play around with foam and the cutting and shaping of foam

Finish my Eru Saga Wizard

Finish my Infinity miniatures that are currently basecoated

Work on my 54mm Zendya

Start on an Infinity mini for a competition in May

Start on a diorama for ReaperCon

Paint my random mini of the month

Finish the Aztec display base I've been working on. The basecoating is done on most of it, need to it next with carefully applied drybrushing

 

Make a storage box with a swivel top for my painting desk.

1) Start and Finish my exchange mini.

2) Finish Rasia's Base

3) Finish at least 1 of my elf mini's

4) Start my Pathfinder Dragon

Seriously. This slump I'm in is really getting annoying. Just no moto to want to sit down & do hobbies right now. Heck last week, went to Hobby Lobby picked up the Revell Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino kit & was all yah, we've got great weather this week, I'm gonna sit down, clip out parts & prime em! Yah like that ever happened, box is still sitting on the table where I put it down after coming home.

 

Seriously glad ReaperCon isn't next month this year!!!

Maybe work on basing/terrain? Or perhaps another genre different from your normal stuff?
