Female Half-Orc Barbarian (02604 Lorn, Barbarian conversion)

 I slapped paint on this damn thing just to get it off my table... Slightly above tabletop. I finished this before the cut-off point for the February Resolutionary Painting Challenge, but couldn't post it until I'd recharged my camera batteries, so this is my fourth mini for Feb.

 

 This is 02604: Lorn, Barbarian w/ Axe... He has a very orcish look to him. I've had this guy for over a decade, and there's always been something about the anatomy of his chest area that bothered me. It actually took some thought, but then I figured out that it doesn't quite look like he has over-developed pectoral muscles, but almost like the sculptor started sculpting breasts on him and left them unfinished...

It occurred to me that this mini would look good as a female half-orc.

 

 

 So, here "he" is, after some reconstructive surgery - I re-sculpted the chest area and the area around the mouth to add the tusks...

I couldn't quite get the upper lip sculpted right in one spot, so I gave her a scar running down through her right eye and her upper lip.

 

And I totally borked up the highlights on her hair - which is annoying, since I'm so good at doing highlights on dark hair in Photoshop, lol...

  Mohgra Blackaxe raised the chopper she'd claimed from the last chief of her tribe and roared a challenge at the seven humans who'd come to avenge the man she'd killed yesterday. He had carried a nice sword, and a pretty red shield. The shield wasn't so pretty anymore, but Mohgra had kept it anyway.

Orc, Dragonborn, and Gnome they fill holes in my collection and I liked them the most too.
