So I have been keeping up with this when I can and I just read a comment on the KS from Tre and i'm so flippen excited at the possibility I'm about going nuts over here.

"This year I am going to produce at least 12 figures every month and I intend to branch out into genres as well, so be ready!"

Edit: Also, any one have any idea what his turn around time from KS to open purchase on his site is?

As soon as he fulfills he has everything up within a week or two on his site to sell. He doesn't mess around.

I am very glad you are excited! I am too! I have so many ideas bubbling in my head that I often have a hard time deciding which to pursue first! So for the rest of the year my focus is to just relentlessly pursue every single idea I have. ;)

As for the turn around between KS and store availability; I learned a hard lesson in my last KS that not accurately calculating demand post KS for retail can be a disaster if the fulfillment takes too long. The production of this KS will be faster than usual as I am splitting hte work between two different contractors. Both of whom I work with on a regular basis and trust to deliver promptly. I am a bit on the fence as to whether or not to open up the KS product for pre order during the production phase to reduce the time between KS fulfillment and retail fulfillment. I do not want my KS backers to feel their support and patience is being trod upon. They ARE first in line after all! :)

In any case the recent kickstarted stuff will be in the RBG store and ready to ship within the next month MAYBE sooner depending on how long the resin production of the bear takes.

  Cheers yall!

Many companies put out a preorder option at an increased cost compared to Kickstarter amounts. Doing this during or after the Kickstarter Pledge Manager window closes. That is totally fine with me.

The only way I could see getting serious backlash would be selling things in a preorder at Kickstarter pricing.

Pledge manager opens this week!

Hey yall just wanted to drop a quick line to let yall know that the Pledge Manager will open this week and will close by friday the 24th of June! I have finished Jorik the Mighty...... I did not like the head I had on him so I changed it and I am VERY happy with the current result! I have only now to finish the heads for the thugs and the hirdmen and all the sculpting will be done and the figures shipped to their respective molding / casting contractors. i expect production to be done within a month so fulfillment will slip into July but hopefully not further than that... as ever thank you all so much for your patience and support and encouragement!

Cheers Yall!

As far as pre-orders go. I'm all for them, I want YOU to succeed in this business and be around for a long long time doing your art. I just ask that kickstarter backers get their stuff before pre-ordered items are sent out. Like give a 1 week delay between shipping the last kickstarter order and your first pre-order. Then after preorders are done shipping, put out the general release and nobody gets upset.

Good point. I don't mind preorders happening before backers get their stuff. It would feel rough if preorders got their stuff first, though.
