Again, nice crisp casts, no mold lines, a few small vents / feeders to remove.... Assembly a much easier on the one piece here vs the Barbed Devils.

No, The only one that I have that isn't in the WiP section is Demogorgon......

I believe someone did that as a diorama either on this forum or cmon....

Base coating these guys as well, starting with Scale 75 Petroleum Grey, and MSP Auburn Shadow.

For some reason, these are the only 2 shots the camera would focus on, and I tried about 20 others.....

Here is my 'reference' pic:

A Bornean Orangutan

These minis seem much less hairy than the real thing, so I will get to paint more dark flesh....

Again, not much, but have to start some where....

So I took the fur up to blond hair, (per the tutorial) then washed it with a mix of GW Orange Ink, Agrax Earthshade, and 2 drops of flow improver.

Touched up the Petroleum Grey base, and started high lighting with Graphene Grey.

The Fur almost looked like a low burning fire before the was, I will investigate that the next time I do a fire effect...

The eyes on these guys are pretty small, need to do them before I go much farther...

A little more work on these guys,

Did their tiny little eyes with VMC Ivory, covered that with F&G Marduk Yellow, and dotted them with Blood Red.

Trimmed them up with Petroleum Grey,

They also got 'monster mouth' with some Pink Flesh.

I tried out my W&N Series 7 Miniature size 0 to do their eyes, and quite honestly, the regular Series 7 size 0 was much better....

Looking for an opinion....

As I look at these guys, after the highlight with Miskatonic Grey ( :;,;: ) I am thinking it needs to be knocked back with a couple of glazes.

What do folks think?

Also working on bases,

For the Bar Igura:

The low spots will be filled with a mix of fine black and grey sands to simulate abyssal ash waste.

These for the Barbhast Devils:

(There should be more color, but the lights washed it out.... and they will all get some flocking so that they look more identical. the one with the 'Y' shape will have that covered with the flock. This will help hide any gaps under the feet)

But Now I am not sure, what do you all think?

should I switch them?

AKA: Sophie's mom.  This is a model that really needs to be made in metal.  It's just awful in plastic.  Anyway, she sat on my paint table a long time before inspiration broke through and I did the wings. The rest just took patience.

Hard to go wrong with sexy female demons, but this one was a devil in more than one sense of the word from start to finish.  Despite being cast in metal she is pretty fragile. The trident broke off and for years she sat in my box of unpainted figs, until one day I found the little pointy bit.  Her tail, likewise, kept bending and i was sure I'd lose that too.
Did her skin with the Bright Skin triad, because that's been waiting patiently for years as well.  Her face is a mess, but overall she came out ok.

Finished my first mini this year, and oddly enough it was a speedpaint, taking just over an hour...

On the flipside, some of those colours work together really, REALLY well, like Sunrise Orange and Heart Throb Paint.

This is a vintage mini, Grenadier Dragonman Sorcerer, I got it from a BOGW a few years ago.
I will use him as a Demon Officer in my Children of the Grave army, because I think he looks a bit like a classic Demon.

Hi everyone, I completed this one last night. 02181, Sirithis the Succubus sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. This is a Dark Heaven Legends model. I painted her with Reaper MSP paint and mounted her on a 40 mm round base sku: 74033. Censored for the younger audience. Uncensored version of the pictures can be found on my blog or FB page.
