Everybody needs a little species modification with their lunch right? Tierdeleira, Dark Elf Cleric, joins the Drider forces as another knight.  Her shield is a button, can't remember who mentioned using those, but thanks!

Oh, in case anybody ever needs to know it, Tierdeleira's shield arm is glued in rather than molded. You can get it out for repositioning without cutting it. Mine pulled out with some effort but I could just as easily have boiled it loose.

What kinda glue do you use to bond the plastic and the metal?

And is the button light weight, so it won't bend the arm?

Looks awesome, this kind of thread always inspires me.

I believe it was TGP who had purchased some shields he intended to use on lizardman.. not sure though,

CA glue works fine bonding the Bones to the metal, especially since the back of the button has a little texture. The lower edge of the shield is also resting on two legs which I believe are thick enough to hold the weight of the button. The button is pretty light at any rate.

A lot of buttons these days are simply colored plastic, or a very thin shell of metal on a plastic core.

Shoddy modern cost-cutting makes for good conversion material. :poke:
