filth beast, slimes, and refuse pile

I have been trying to paint a filth beast for a while and keep having to simple green them. I could not capture the look I wanted, so had to start over.  this is my last try. I still did not get it right , can't seem to match the picture in my head to the mini. soo anyway here it is with some slimes and a refuse (poo) pile.

Even if you don't like it, I find the filth beast very well done.

 

I should also say that your refuse pile painting is just sh**y...but I mean that in a good way.  It truly evokes what you intend it to.

I especially like that last shot, because I can't tell if he's eating that stuff, or regurgitating it. I like the latter idea best!

Well, if a not-otyugh is anything like an otyugh, it's the former. That's what they eat. They're rather friendly and useful if kept fed in a dungeon, and are typically used as waste disposal.

 

But yeah, I like the paint jobs! It might not be perfect in your mind, but it's still very nice.

Nice job, for a  really disgusting creature.  I really like the eyes.  they scream "this is MINE!  don't you dare touch it"
