I seen a couple of new special release figures for the ogre team (Forgeworld) Definitely lots of character in those minis! 1 1

PaganMegan
I think we need to order some of the new wave.

There is enough variety to hold everyone over till the next release in March (I think that is the month).
PaganMegan
I think we should get the bounty board, even though we made our own, I may not need it now, but I would never have needed it if I hadn't seen the Deep Cuts board. Did anybody else not know you can peel the paper off cheap foam core, and use a pen or pencil to give it a wood grain? It took, like, five minutes to make a bounty board, and then another ten to give it a little roof.
PaganMegan
A lot less stuff coming out in March.
haldir
It's a normal amount for a release. With the current release being so big, it'll make other seem small. All I know is I've already place a order with my FLGS for the undead beholder, just in case.

PaganMegan
I am thinking thst the WizKids frost giant would make a great Frost Giant King. Jotunblood to explain the size, levels in Barbarian, but I think he needs something more. He will be a 20 CR boss that the party may never need to face, since he can be bargained with. Thing is, the character the mini was made for is seeping into my Frost Giant King. He is a better King than the frost giants deserve. He wants TRADE. His grandfather is still around, and even bigger. He is the Kings of War frost giant.

(Ummonsay Azathothway, hey! This is easy!) 1 1

The Frost Giant King is going to talk your ear off about trade as soon as you meet him, he is not shy about his plans. Frost giants get kind of twitchy, trying to work a forge. 1
TheAuldGrump
For the record - Jotunblood is in Green Ronin's Advanced Bestiary. Some of my very favorite templates are in that book, and I think there is a 5e version as well. *EDIT* I also recommend Open Design's Larger Than Life. In particular the Thursir - lesser, Lawful Evil giants, good for mid-level encounters. Pretty much Lawful, intelligent Hill Giants. Often taking orcs for slaves. The Auld Grump Thursir are also in the Midgard Bestiary. I have to recommend that book, it has some tasty treats. Looking for appropriate miniatures, but not having a lot of luck, outside of the ONE figure from Effing Cool. They are WEAKER than Hill Giants, but more dangerous, because they work together. Moving this to my Norse game thread. I am eating space. Edited January 30, 2020 by PaganMegan
haldir
Just remembered, newest wave comes out next month! I need to look at the pre-release & see if anything really grabs my attention. Wizkids figures go pretty fast around here at my FLGS. Edit: Definitely gonna get this one: WZK90043 Pathfinder Deep Cuts — Male Elf Magus Top one is pretty close to my half-elf warlock/rogue I'm playing in a Storm Lord's Thunder campaign
