A lot of the next wave I’ll have to decide on once I see them in person.

Right now I’m most interest in the Zombie Beholder, the Grell, maybe the wardog and the scenery pieces.

I was very disappointed in the Bones 4 raptors I received. If the Wizkids ones look better, and I suspect they will, then I’ll be getting some packs of those.

Just remembered, newest wave comes out next month! I need to look at the pre-release & see if anything really grabs my attention. Wizkids figures go pretty fast around here at my FLGS.

Edit:

Definitely gonna get this one:

WZK90043-Elf-Magus-4.99-450x551.png

WZK90043 Pathfinder Deep Cuts — Male Elf Magus

Top one is pretty close to my half-elf warlock/rogue I'm playing in a Storm Lord's Thunder campaign

What's a magus and why does it look like an elven version of Percival Fredrickstein von Musel Klossowski de Rolo III?

A pretty cool specialized fighter/wizard type.

Lower spell level limit, but able to cast touch spells through their weapon, with Shocking Grasp being  RUDE surprise when you get hit with it at the same time the sword is perforating your precious, precious skin. ::):

Better able to use armor at higher levels, becoming sort of a spell tank.

There was a weird magus lich in Grump's game.

Petrified half the party, knocked out the rest, and left the unconcious cleric with a wand of stone to flesh.

Still don't know what his game was, but he went out of his way to avoid killing, so not entirely evil. He won, got what he wanted, and was magnimonious in his victory.

I think we only got part of his plot, so I expect he will show up later in another campaign in the same setting, if we ever go back to Beyond the Borderlands.

Does anybody know how many waves Wizkids releases per year?

Since Wave 11 releases in a week, how long until the previews for Wave 12?

Don’t know.

It seems to me that the waves used to come out a lot quicker and have slowed the past year or so.

Wasnt he something  else before they brought out the Magus? I know he was the first evil iconic for them (NE).

I'm pretty sure he was the iconic Eldrich Knight. Which no-one in our circle of gamers plays any more because Magus is sooo much better  I have no idea why Paizo thought it was a good idea to make a standard class more effective than the prestige version, but never mind.

On topic, the previews are looking nice. Hopefully we'll get a decent amount of stock over here this time.

This looks nothing like Percy. But that top one on the Nolzur minis looks like an elven Percy.

A slight confusion here. In the Deepcuts preview, the top one looks like Percy (the hair and refined attire), the bottom one looks like Seltyiel (look at those pecs!).

This version looks to be based off the Mythic Seltyiel (like most of the second sculpts in the sets are) and what I'm guessing is his 2E update.  He's gone through a few changes...like apparently being a Dhampir now instead of a Half-Elf?  I don't care enough to really follow all the 2E changes.

Eldritch Knight was a holdover from 3.0 and 3.5 - ported directly over to Pathfinder from the SRD.

Starting with the Advanced Player's Guide, Paizo started moving away from the often abused and unbalanced prestige classes of 3 and 3.5, and started moving to archetypes (awesome) and alternate base classes (also awesome).

So, witch, eldritch knight, gunslinger, and cavalier all became things in their own rights - with archetypes added to each. (I think Megan is trying to work her way through all the witch archetypes - while revisiting favorites.)
